Thank you for making the Trooper videos!! Not much out there as far as support.. I am working on an 89 and going to make the Tdi swap using an a340 transmission… thanks again!!!!
@@overcrestproductions I am totally in ...But I am going to use the automatic transmission ....isuzu used the a340trans in the trooper which was used in the toyota tundra and Landcruiser from what I have researched . so the trans should hold up to the torque of the 1.9 I think i might have to machine the torque converter for the 1.9 crank though...

I knew you were screwed when you didn't have any cardboard under that block before you rotated it. I've done that 1 too many times.. now there is always cardboard under everything.
When does the new video come out for the Trooper! Stuck in limbo making a decision on driving mine with the 2.6 or yanking it out in preparation for a BHW 2.0 ..
Also, the little cinematic interlude of the air powered vibrating octopus tentacle rust removal tool was awesome.

Absolutely. If you want to use the stock transmission I may do a small group buy later once I put some miles on.
