How Does Santa DO IT!? A Very Special Christmas Special
Beats a Singer hands down. This car gives me goosebumps.
Damn! I met Aaron when I was a kid. My dad was one of his first clients when he started FlatSix. At that time it was race car set up and track support at a few races.
It’s called hot Rodin
I met a walker years ago. Walking Capetown to Tel Aviv Loved the vibe he had. At peace, content appreciating and appreciative. Walking the fortune
Any chance of finding out which size of tires you are running on this? I am doing a narrow body 75 and after the type of car.
Known Larry for a long time. He's a man with good taste
With the Trooper? Obviously ;)
I have been trying to outfit an ‘89 Trooper as you mentioned in the opening conversation. I think there are accessories abroad as they are still plentiful in developing countries. If you search Chevrolet Troopers in Indonesia they are all outfitted with bull bars, winches, flares, etc. Just need to be able to make some contacts to bring some adventure type accessories in.
Great info. 👍
Hi guys, how can I contact you?
kris @ overcrestproductions dot com
Absolutely incredible and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of all of this. See y’all in Arkansas!
thanks for being a part of what we do man!
Well done!
Thanks!
Love it. These guys were so down to earth, perfect pick. Was nice chatting with you guys at dinner!
Good to hear the back sorry of this company. But how awesome that my 20+ bmw that doesn't qualify for a warranty has a lifetime warranty on the parts I buy. Love this company!
Where is the rest of this episode??? It just ends mid-thought..
Would LOVE an update on this project!
Never going to buy an EV. Period. End of discussion.
Holy shit can't believe Dani Sordo was so lucky to call Ron his teammate.
I prefer the CZcams, feels more like hanging out than audio only.
That might be the coolest 911 I have ever seen. The story makes it.
I used to live in NW area (Siloam Springs, Gentry, Gravette) and use to do the trip up to MN and back. Definitely got nice roads and (crossing fingers) little cops per say. I will say the only "dangerous" things are the smaller roads as it's not uncommon that you'll get a semi-truck going 60mph on a 45mph turn with the s-curved-like roads having no side. Edited (as I listen along): it is true that education funding is crap down there. Sister worked in a Lincoln and basically had no fund. Gentry had ancient educational books compared to MN. Gentry and the next city to it (Decatur) is really poor. Decatur was so poor that it's school was shut down and kids had to be split up to the nearby cities for schooling. Doesn't help that small Wal-Mart stores started popping up everywhere killing smaller stores but what you can you do when your state is the home state for Wal-Mart. Southern hospitality there is much warmer than MN nice too. They won't be afraid to tell you what they feel. But their friendliness definitely feel more genuine than the MN nice.
Minnesota nice is a fraud. 100%.
I recently made a road trip to the Ole ArkNSaw to grab some wheels a year ago....and got into the mountains at night! It was friggin wild! Drivers Paradise!
Great video, watched it yesterday after speaking with you at O'Reilly's. Was wondering if you could help me identify something on my trooper. Hopefully you still have my card and can email me. Have a great day!

Wonderful filmography 👏🏻
Thank you very much!
Where is that road at 2:20?!?!
PS DEEPDISH IS LIFE!!!!!
This was a great episode! I can relate to some of the hard feelings shared due to back injuries and re-focusing passions. Kudos! Great guest!
Thank you.
What an incredible story!! It’s kind of funny, it’s hard to explain to people what driving and what this rally means to us, but when you’re talking to someone from Overcrest, you don’t have to explain anything. We all get it. This is my favorite video by far.
Thank you John!
Well said!
I love driving in my chucks!comfortable as hell and can feel the pedals well.Great podcast, first one I’ve watched
The best driving shoe. And welcome!
The question should be, 'Why wouldn't you do that to a car like that?' It's great!
This is everything that is great about cars and enthusiasts. Well loved, driven hard and often, not locked away and polished with diapers on a battery tender. You gotta roast the pork hard and often.
We still need to go to Blainbrook Kris.
Promo-SM 🙌
My first car was a used 74 Pinto Runabout Hatchback. I kept 2 more Pintos in the driveway for parts. One was a wagon but not a woody. They had one quirk I remember- If you park facing uphill on a steep enough angle you won't be able to start the car.
the fuel must have been draining back to the tank haha
I had a '73 Pinto wagon that same color but not a Squire and it was a 4 speed manual. I paid $150 for it in 1979. My first brand new car was a '76 Pinto Pony MPG 4 speed that really did get the advertised mileage estimates of 24 City and 36 HWY. There were two more, a red '72 2 door and a red '73 wagon, both auto trans.
I would have killed for a manual on this trip... it would have helped A LOT
It's easy to see how a fella could get out of joint and pissy eyed trying to navigate a troublesome 50 year old relic down our nations by-ways, but there is a solution. Replacing your cars transmission vacuum modulator will solve your problems and correct your car's bad behavior. I would also change the spark plugs, as they have become fouled due to the bad modulator. So fix that ole firebomb and don't let that kid see her father crying. Happy motoring.
My Dad had a Pinto wagon for his business. It was actually a pretty good little car
solid around town for sure!
Please get JoshyRobots back on the pod!
Maybe someday!
When you think about it there definitely is a possibility that one day a DeLorean time machine will just appear somewhere. IF humanity finds out a way for time traveling and we come to a point where time travel machines become publicly available someone will probably make a DeLorean shaped time machine because is has become such a staple of pop culture
What time period would they go to? Wouldnt they just drive to the set of the old movie? I feel like if that wasg oing to happen it would have already.
@overcrestproductions time period doesn't really matter, if it comes to the point where we can have our own time travel machine we would have people all over the world travel to probably every possible time period at some point, if it actually comes to that point it's just a waiting game
WHERE ARE THE DELOREANS!? ;)
Where can I find out more about this car? Tire size, suspension set up, redline etc?..Love everything about it!
Hey boys! Recently started listening and enjoyed quite a few episodes. Usually a podcast listener but came here to comment. Granted I might be a decade or two younger, it’s hard to pick a year but I think 07-13 is the greatest hits.. v8 rs4 wagon in stick, v8 itb m3, GT3rs, GT2rs, Mitsubishi evo, so many more. Peak car before tech and everything got bigger and more tech after
They stuff is great but gets so much harder to maintain!
@@overcrestproductions well it’s easier in some ways because parts are still available… also you can actually even daily some of these cars, which like you guys mentioned you can’t with the stuff from 80s or 90s
Glad to see you still have the Trooper!!
I could listen to you two all day, please do another one!
Nice!

Great interview!
Divorced dad here. 3 days a week. My kid loves a Hot wheels car when I see him. I’m a Euro/ JDM person. He loves American iron, like his grandfather that he never met. He sees headlights and taillights like I do and knows all the makes and marks. My hero!!
