Playing PSP games on an emulator is actually a great way of getting this feeling. The thing with the PSP's screen is that it unsharpens the picture quality a bit, making the games on the device look just naturally blurry, when in actuality if you just used a higher pixel count and resolution (with emulators), you'd get a sharp image of the otherwise graphically less demanding game. It gives the game a strange feeling, and a better understanding of the things that had to be done to get it to run on the platform.
I'm so happy I got this channel recommended to me! I got recommended the Persona 3 Reload video at first, but I've watched all the videos that are on here so far and it really just itches a scratch that hasn't been scratched for me in a while with CZcams content 🙏
reminds me when i was a kid and i would play call of duty campaign and multiplayer on ds and i also remember starwars: force unleashed too on the ds it tried to pull the epicness of the story but the hardware was just not powerful enough to give the true experience it wanted to produce like the psp or ps2 version
I was thinking about that "handheld uncanny valley" as awesome as being able to run console games on mobile devices is, games designed for handheld have a unique charm

The PSP was so cool. Barely a Playstation 2 trying to be a Playstation 3.
Nice first video. The algorithm putting in work for once.
Thank you! It got picked up because of the DS2 trailer I think.

Hey thank tou so much for watching all my stuff!
I 100% agree. Theres something undeniabky charming about small versions of big things, and video games are absolutely included in that.
I've been in love with impossible ports ever since Half-Life 2 on the Xbox
That's a great one! For me it started when I saw a Nintendo 64 copy of Resident Evil 2 at a flea market.
When the Ruby were to fall
I used to love playing Turd Birthday
that SMT IF ost tho :>
It is SO good.
