as someone who just learned about pc’s less than two weeks ago i appreciate this video as it helps uncover other potential problems. so far i have installed 16GB of RAM, a M.2, and i was having signal issues when i went from the Ryzen 3 3100 to the Ryzen 5 5600X and it got me thinking so for the Ryzen 3 it has a liquid cooler and when i went to the Ryzen 5 i would have no signal, i used the same liquid cooler. and it got me thinking does the cooler not produce enough cooling for the 5? i didn’t use the stealth cooler or even attempted that came with the Ryzen 5 i read that the liquid coolers are better. so for right now it’s just stuck on the Ryzen 3 until i do some more reading.

    Hi!
I have a laptop connected to a monitor. Everything worked fine until a couple of days ago. My problem is that when I start the laptop the monitor don’t get any signal. When I disconnect the HDMI cable the laptops monitor turns on and works fine. When I connect the cable again and search for a signal on the monitor it works perfect (the laptops monitor go black as expected). Until I don’t use the computer for a while and the monitor goes into power save mode and I need to disconnect the HDMI cable again for it to work. So. Everything works great as long as the monitor hasn’t been off.

FIXED MINE BY REMOVING CM0S BATTERY FOR 5-6 MIN, REMOVING STATIC WHILE GPU IS INSERTED BY PRESSING DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SEC AND A LOT OF PRAYERS!! THANK GOD
Edit: For a full explanation, I disconnected everything first. By that, I mean the keyboard, mouse, display port, usb cables, supply to the system, and etc. Next, I removed the CM0S Battery for 5-6 minutes to drain the static electricity that was probably messing with my newly installed GPU at that time. Then, I placed the battery again and connected every cable. After all that, I turned on my pc and it finally displayed. Also, it helps if you have some knowledge about BIOS in setting up main display, since in some cases, the display will get rerouted to your alternative display (your display port is connected to your GPU but the BIOS is configured to your iGPU or vice versa, resulting to a no reception).
If this doesn't work, well maybe because your RAM wasn't plugged all the way through or you have a defective RAM stick. Happened recently to mine as well.

What if I have some issue like this, when I turn on my PC it would got black screen like this but after several minutes it would finally boot up. Now while PC is on for a few hours, there would be unexpected "no signal" and no sound (I'm not sure if this no sound, or it's completely stopped any works on PC). But when I look at my PC everything is still on, CPU fan, LED's, Cooling Fan. Idk how to fix this issue, In have cleaned my RAM, reset CMOS, resetting my windows, Upgrade my BIOS, nothing happened. Can faulty RAM be the source of this issue? The issue is most of the time appear unexpectedly when I'm clickin on something

What if I can turn on my computer with no issue but as soon as I open a game like for instants warthunder, it loads fine for like a minute and then screen goes black and then while my screen is turned off my pc is still running and if I then click on a Butten that has like 2 squares with a slash in between them, and if I then wait for it to check my dvi and analog signal it just says check signal cable, even if I take out and plug in the signal cable?

I think you missed the most likely issue that you would check first. Most new monitors have more than one connecter type for the computer display like HDMI or Display Port. If your new build uses a different display port than your last build then you need to use buttons on monitor to change the port that is displayed on the screen. If you used HDMI, for example, on your last build and then changed to Display Port, you would need to cycle the button for changing monitor display to that port.

Hey ! Thanks for the comment ! I totally agree, monitor displays are a common culprit in no signal errors but I focused on PC relevant fixes ! I’m revisiting this video after a few comments so I’ll make sure to add this in the reshoot !!!

None of this fixed my issue, but after a lot of time i may just have finally fixed it. The issue seems to have been the power supply air filter at the bottom of my case being clogged up with dust and somehow that may have been causing my power supply, that is at the bottom of my case and FAN FACE DOWN and had been intaking air through that dirty filter, to malfunction and cause the signal loss on the monitor. I just rolled over the power supply to fan face up to intake air from inside the case and havent had issues since. ALSO i remove the CMOS shorter from the cmos pins on the motherboard (The cmos shorter is a tiny tiny tool that is used on the cmos pins on the motherboard. Look online for more info)

When I game latley my display sometimes goes out and my gpu fans dont spin. Yet everything in my computer case is powered on even the rgb lights of the graphics card. Once i do a forced restart the display stays black and the gpu wont start. Could this be that my gpu is finally on its final legs?

After resetting the factory heatsink of the cpu, as soon as I press the power on on my pc, the screen opens a little, it shows that it opens and as soon as the pc goes to do something else (like entering the bios or windows) then the screen closes and does not open and the rest of the computer works normally, I put it on 3 different screens and with many different cables (hdmi, vga, display port) and again nothing. I made the pc at Christmas. can you help me quickly
