    FAQS:
    1. Can you update bios without monitor?
    - YES! In fact even without cpu, gpu or ram installed you still can if you have the latest motherboard since it's becoming common for motherboards nowadays with physical "FLASH BIOS BUTTON" Check your motherboard manual for more info.
    - No, if you got the old motherboards but like i said in the video bring it to a local shop they will know what to do. that's why i don't suggest beginners updating their bios on their own
    2. My pc was working for at least 2 months already then suddenly no signal

    Firstly, I want to thank you for your video very informative. Secondly, I want to highlight some points that they might be reason also for lost signal. 1) check all the screws attached to the motherboard MB are firmly tight and covering all the dotts around the screw. 2) make sure that all memory cards also firmly tight and follow the instructions on MB. 3) make sure that HDMI cable is completely inserted in the outlet of the graphic card. I hope🤞 you all have fun assembly of your PC'S. Good luck

You need to test parts one by one to know if something is faulty. i suggest ask a friend with compatible pc to try out your rams and gpu one at a time and if problem persist then it's one of the components they tried. If problem did not persist then you got a faulty motherboard or power supply, though you can use something like this amzn.to/38SM0l9 to test your psu

    Can you please help me? I have Gigabyte z590 AORUS Elite AX motherboard and an Intel Core i5 10500 CPU. It has integrated graphics and on my motherboard I have only DP port. As I’m connecting it to my monitor through a DP to HDMI cable, I have no signal when I turn the PC on. Also I have a Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM which is plugged in into second RAM slot on my motherboard. I have also tried two sticks of RAM in 2nd and 4th ports. It just won’t show me BIOS, completely no signal on my monitor while corresponding HDMI is selected in its settings. I have also tried with PCI express video card instead of integrated graphics on my Mobo, same results for some reason no video signal at all.

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  Před 2 lety

      I got two theories. one, your monitor cable converter from dp to hdmi might just be faulty so try other cables if you got one or at least borrow from someone before buying a new one. Two, this might be your psu or power outlet not giving enough power for the system. Psu might be faulty so test it using a psu tester like this amzn.to/3mWD0np psu rarely becomes faulty even if its new but not impossible. Power outlet low power draw is usually caused by power fluctuation so if you got any power fluctuation lately you should consider that as a reason.

      if you see no lights, no fans running and no lights on keyboard and mouse that is a dead psu. Probably broke down because or might be it can't handle the pc parts. But if you see lights are on and fans running, it might be the Rams. Try reseating them, if still doesn't work try our cleaning method in this video czcams.com/video/F-dLBIomghY/video.html

      Today I had the same problem . I build my new pc 2 day's ago. Yesterday I was playing and everything was normal but today when I was playing suddenly black screen. I change my bios ,reinstall the nvidia drivers
      and nothing but when I take my graphics card off and plug the DP in motherboard everything works fine. So what's the problem, it could be the graphics card or the two 8pin cable's or maybe something else? Thank you.

    • @MacCoyzkie
      @MacCoyzkie  Před 3 lety +1

      @@rey93100 plugging in the monitor in the motherboard's dp means that your gpu was not detected. Plug your gpu back and remove the cmos battery for at least 5mins and place it back again. (do this while grounded and pc is not plugged in any power outlet) then try powering your pc back. This should turn off the integrated graphics and will look for the gpu instead, some motherboard auto detects but some don't, maybe yours doesn't.
      anyway if this still doesn't work you need to try your gpu with other pc. if problem persist it is the gpu if not maybe it is the motherboard and i guess that will be the time you need to bring it to the local shop where you got your pc from. They'll fix it for free since it's newly build but i guess it's a different story if you got your pc parts online

      you turn off the monitor itself or the whole pc? updating process interruption may result to corrupted software. Now what you can do is to DDU the currently driver, here's how to czcams.com/video/SvIJhcxZTsA/video.html you may need to go to safe mode to do this

      most motherboards nowadays have those one button flash bios where you can update your bios even without cpu ram gpu or monitor. just the psu to power it. if your motherboard doesn't have that feature you might need to go to a local shop because older motherboards need a previous gen cpu to update bios

    I'd love to sing you praises but I bought a prebuilt from iBuyPower and no signal. I'm using my 4K TV and have tried several HDMI cables and switching ports on both the graphics card and the TV. There is a red light, LEF that appears to be by VGA. I've tried reseating the memory and even the GPU. All the pretty lights come on and that DAMN VGA light, LED still comes on! I tried calling tech support and they closed hours ago. The only thing I haven't tried is reinstalling the M2 SSD or mess with the CPU. I'm thinking the GPU must be bad. I've hooked other things to my TV so I don't think that is the issue but I'm about ready to go buy a monitor just to make sure but I'll call tech support tomorrow first and see what they say instead of repeating everything I've already tried. I'm used to hearing a computer make a beep during self test and the keyboard lights to come on so I'm kinda thinking it isn't booting. iBuyPower supposedly double QC's their computers and runs a burn in on them but no, mine don't fricken work!

      @@MacCoyzkie Thanks for the reply! I hope it doesn't come down to an RMA. I haven't popped out the CMOS battery like a few videos mention as I'm not quite sure what it would do to the BIOS. I thought about the TV maybe being an issue but I don't think that would cause the steady VGA LED to be on. It seems to be related to the graphics card or some other hardware in the PC hopefully not the i7 CPU. Too bad no integrated graphics! I may try popping the CMOS battery or even placing the graphics card in a different slot but I don't want to do anything that may void the warranty or RMA. I'm not certain if say I had a monitor that the VGA light would go out as I don't even get any lights to the keyboard! Sucks to have these issues with a new prebuilt PC that was supposedly double QC'd and burned in at the assembly plant. 🤔🙄I do wish I had spare parts to swap around and a monitor to test that theory though. Hopefully after I call tech support it will be an easy fix!

      @@MacCoyzkie I ended up contacting tech support who right off the bat said either a bad GPU or motherboard. They suggested a GPU swap that would take 4 weeks! That would put me out of the window of any refund which is 30 days and didn't guarantee a fix as it could be the motherboard. I could send the PC back for repair or replacement which was quoted at 7 weeks+! I asked couldn't they expedite a GPU to me quickly to see if that fixed it and the reply was if I BOUGHT one but still 4 weeks! And I may add they kept me on indefinite hold where the wait time kept incresing then decreasing only to increase again so I did online chat. So I chose RMA for refund but I would have to contact sales which I did and they issued the RMA number but could be up to 2 days to receive the FEDEX label! Anyone buying from iBuyPower beware! This kind of service is rated F in my book! I did learn a lot though! Thank you for your video and your replies as they've been very helpful! Oh and after they receive the return it takes 4 to 8 business days to get my refund. I forgot to ask but hopefully they don't charge any restocking fee for a broken system! Oh and the tech support blamed it on shipping damage so I asked why didn't they ship it separately and THAT is a hidden option in their ordering system and I didn't choose it so it must be the customers fault! They should default to shipping it uninstalled to prevent damage in my opinion. They are a huge operation and should have better service than this. They should have either sent a replacement GPU or system ASAP and extended the refund window accordingly along with the RMA label ASAP. and parts could cross ship! Anyway, my saga! I'm not sure if it is a compability issue since on pcpartpicker it says that some b550 motherboard's bios needs to be updated but on the box of my board it says that it specifically supports my cpu.
