The Robe Mafia leap/stroll into action to help him, and the courtyard renovation becomes a symbol of the unity of the chateau's inhabitants! The lovely Renee and Wendy also return to Lalande to set up an exhibition of photos of women - 'Photos de Femmes', and there's much debate from Mummy about whether photos of me can be included or not... Love how Selmar works - he's just as interested in the wallpaper selection as he is in the immaculate construction and finishing work of the bathroom project. Can't wait to see his artistic contributions to make it another one-of-a-kind Selmar creation. Bravo!

Hanni is beautiful. Such a sweet quiet soul. I love her. I guess her personality resonates with me. Took me a while to warm to her, but like everyone at LaLande I end up in love with them. Not everyone is an extrovert, so Hanni is the perfect role model for us introverts. Can't believe every expisode ends up being my favourite. Stephanie is everything I have ever dreamt to be and never knew!
Natti is just adorable in her raking outfit and her hair and earrings are superb.
She looked like a garden superhero.
The whole team at Lalande are an absolute hoot. These vlogs are so entertaining and bring so much joy. So much is happening, transformation everywhere. Stephanie you attract the most wonderful people to your Chateau!

He is finished his treatment and if I understand correctly, he is cancer free or at the least, in remission.

I won't bore you with a voluminous written dialogue...only to say; window with a view; strutting dog; a dedicated gardener; raking with love, sweat and laughter, rewarded by lovingly distilled gin; two loos in motion towards perfection each with a stunning view out the window, especially one; exquisite photographs hung to perfection; red leaves on the wall; sunshine; loads of joy; food to savour; and happy hearts. You should get an attatchement for the mower, that can rake large areas 😉 I would not be surprized if maybe you already had something like it, somewhere in the outbuildings 🙂 Before, they used to let a horse drag it around, but it can easily be modified to use with the mower.
Good thinking. We generally use an old bed spring and drag it behind whatever vehicle is available. Works great for courtyards, driveways, trails...
Good idea 😁 I just know, that you often find these old rake things on old farms, or other places with a lot of gravel. But its hard to explain what it looks like, and if you don't know what it is, it might not be completely obvious just from looking at it. It sort of looks like a wrought iron coat rack for a lot of coats, maybe? 😂

I always remember Henri. As every cyber story unfolds to our eyes and ears, I say to myself, Henri is at work again. The gifts of beautiful and creative souls to Lalande have no bounds. A phenomena we dear ones viewing and from afar continue to savour and enjoy.
I think about Henri with each new person who appears at LaLande💗. He is keeping true to his word, bringing amazing people from around the world, to help with LaLande! The spirit plate is a beautiful idea. I have native ancestry also, and it is a wonderful way to honour the ancestors and beloveds who are no longer in body walking the earth with us.

There's way too much fun happening at this Chateau.... and still all the chores are completed along with projects that require more attention to detail. Stephanie sets a great example and everyone, including guests, happily follow with such enthusiasm. The courtyard is a group effort...while Selmar's working on the 'Designer' downstairs loo... just loved Philip's idea of the note in the sofa, a wonderful touch! And what can you say about those fabulous photos....so glad we got to see them. 🏰🦘

The whole gang out working on the courtyard was amazing. Who won the biggest pile of rocks competition. The photos were just stunning, I loved the really bright coloured ones, with the sewing going on, they were just brilliant, I want to go visit there now.🥰 can’t wait to see the courtyard finished, it’s going to look worthy of the Chateau.😂🤣. Such fun all of the volunteers and you, Mom and contractors pitching in to clear the large stones so the new gravel will spread evenly it will be such an accomplishment when it is all done. Everyone working on all different projects such fun to see the results and since all of you are going to help spread the gravel might as well have someone set up a picknik table with drinks and snacks so you can take few brakes during the day. I just want to make a suggestion take it or leave it. I just think Stephanie's bedroom would look so much better without the distracting bright pink trim. Antique gold like her bed trim or a very pale pink peach color would be lovely.The bright pink cheapens the whole room in my humble opinion.
Seeing Stephanie film more in her bedroom lately had me thinking the past few vlogs that she definitely deserves a grand bedroom makeover.. I know the chateau is a work in progress but it would be amazing to see that beautiful bed frame and furniture she has in there displayed in a room befitting of the fantasy and grandeur of living in a chateau..😉
I too always find that line of bright pink jarring. It makes me think of masking tape left behind. I know Stephanie loves pink but I think I saw a blog where she said she had plans to change it.
