Selmar - I have no idea - perhaps he is "revealed" in more deal in Stephanie's Patreon account. Michael P has his own vlog and his and Gerry's backstories have been covered a number of times in Stephanie's earlier posts and in some combined Stephanie and Michael Q&A's. Michael has also done 3 Q&A session on his Patreon account.
Selmar is a volunteer who arrived just before lockdown. Such a lovely chap!

Watching the progress of the garden, anticipating Syph and Thor's babies, sharing in the beauty and transition of the chateau on step at a time, fills me in these times of lockdown, with joy. In Argentina we are still in lockdown. It's been 100 days already and they are saying they will take us back to FASE 1 and extender until September. This is a nightmare. I want to be back to normal. I'm so happy you are free once again.

If you read on (America though) CDC's website, it has ONLY affected .02% of the population. Point oh two. That's so much less than the flu. Yes, we must be cautious but locking us a n our homes is ridiculous imo and the masks are taking our oxygen levels down to .12 which is 20% less than OSHA's guidelines. C'mon already. I feel for you guys. I expect in September or October we will be in a worldwide lockdown. The economies will tank. Sorry about the rant; it's affected my family terribly the past week (not because we have the flu ) so it's hitting hard right now
I dream to go over to Lalande and be a volunteer for a month or two, just to absorb all of the positive energy over there!

I have already expressed how delightful it is for this on-her-own, perfectly lovely Grandma in Canada to join in the comfort and joy that exudes from LaLande and has no doubt done so for hundreds of years. Hugs.

Your hair looks fabulous, but yes, quite a change now! Carlos eyes light up ( my partner) every time he sees the tool room where Selmar was working, I think he would be in his element there. He built our whole house so its his dream to have a big room like that! I think the customs rules must be very more relaxed in France, my brother sent me 3 deodorants from the US,marked as a gift and I still had to pay €50 customs fee to retrieve them...which probably makes them the most expensive deodorants ever 😂 I was in Capri yesterday and thought of you dreaming about wafting around in that silk shirt you were gifted recently💕😘

Sadly I missed seeing this when it premiered, but I thoroughly enjoyed catching up. I loved seeing the mammoth efforts to open the dehydrator & was struck with the thought that Stephanie should have played music while it was unwrapped in a pass the parcel style, with Isabelle and Michael taking turns! An extra glass of champagne to the one who takes off the final layer.
