I would definitely check the deck adjustments on the TT2. I have a 61” TT2 with 35 horse vanguard and it doesn’t leave a thing. It doesn’t matter if I’m cutting high or low it does great. Love the video as usual!
If you drive up there...you got to stop back by here🤪😎💪. The FX730 on my JD is 23.5 HP. That engine has been bullet proof for me so far. Almost 1500 hrs and nothing but regular maintenance... still using original fuel pump. I have about had it with the Kohler EFI on the QuikTrak 🤦. They don't make them like they used too brother. That's crazy hrs for sho. Keep on grinding brother 💪👊😎💯
I'm debating if I wanna drive all the way to Florida from Louisiana just to buy this new mower that we want. It's the only one that I can find in stock at a dealership. 2 of the 4 mowers we have are down waiting on parts 🤷can never have enough mowers. Hopefully you can pick up that mower from Shawn 👍

Great video Ray. I believe that that scag turf cat has only 795.5 hours. I looked it up and the last number should be in 1/10 hours. Still an awesome mower for its age!
@@rayrayslawnlandscape2008 yeah, it is. I’m sure they have been using it as a loaner for a while and it’s been abused. It still seems like a great mower tho. I was going to mention that I bet the reason it disperses grass better is due to the wider opening compared to the 52 inch deck. This being said, I would have thought that your turf tiger would cut better. I would make sure the deck is leveled and check the baffles like you mentioned.keep up the great content!
My Dad told me something when I was a kid and I told my kids the same thing. Take care of your vehicle and your vehicle will take care of you. Who cares if it's dented, dinged, scratched, whatever. Keep it washed and cleaned. To most customers, appearance means A LOT. If they see an unkept truck, people wonder what kind of job will they do in my yard if that's how they tend to their own equipment. Sometimes, appearance is everything. And, I get it, believe me! When you get home and you're worn out as hell, NO ONE wants to spend more time out in miserable weather cleaning their truck!
@@louroberts5567 I agree, I Hate a dirty truck, it’s been thunder storming here about every other day, that’s no excuse for the inside, I just don’t have the time right now to get it done, work, sleep and eat is my everyday routine until mowing season slows down! They cost to much not to keep them clean though!

Love my tiger cat 2 61” is a absolute beast I have the 48”vride 2 and is another great mower I am out of Ohio O…H…. Plan on picking up another 61” next season will probably not run any other mower like Ferris also but is not a scag just my opinion
it is 795.4 you can just barely see the decimal. aint no way that mower would last more than 3k hours without having hydros redone and that engine or almost any engine would be on its last leg at 3k the red writing on the meter under the last digit says 1/10th thats the decimal points counter.... thing. lol
No way original Kawasaki motor its probably had 2 or 3 engines like you said .. i do have a original kohler on a x series with 4500 and still going ...Kawasaki just wont last that long with me i have 2 kaws in shop now needing heads 2700 hrs and 2800 hrs..just saying
Helpful but another video with gum flapping for the first several minutes until you get to real material. Then watch me mow, why the trailer gets stuck etc. Focus on the points would be good.

I got a exmark that had 7500 hrs on it. It was on the third engine when I sold it.

You're supposed to adjust deck height after you install tweels. 3.5" should mean 3.5" cut.
yeah but i never did that - we dont cut alot of manicure lawns. I just drop the deck down .5 setting
