I run both a Renegade and a tt2. At 100 hrs scag pto gear box grenaded. Replaced castor wheels twice, wheel lugnuts loosened and trashed rim, valves out of adjustment. Now 550 hrs. Bad boy steering component broke, suspension eyebolt snapped. 300 hrs
We have the Kubota diesel version of this machine just picked it up last week, we got a super good deal on it. 2008 in Mint condition. Scags are the best in the business especially the cut quality!!!
i also have the zt Elite....its a beast....i just dont know if i should go BB or scag for my first commercial mower....i dont want to mess this decision up
What’s up. I’ve been cutting for years but nothing big. Just my yard and my parents. I’ve moved into two acres now. I wanted to ask about objects in the way. How do you deal with them? Let’s say you’ve never cut an area before and the grass is like 2-3 ft tall. How would you deal with that yard? Objects like. Rocks, baseballs, tree branches and other random objects.
Ok I get that. I was asking to know how durable this machine is to random objects to don’t see and you run over. Does it break often? Or you just make sure to cut clean yards
@@TimothyIpmanchilds I ended up getting one. Turf Tiger 2 very nice machine. Looking to get a Grass Flap for it. You have any experience mowing Bermuda grass? Mine doesnt seem to stripe very well. Its not all Bermuda though...it unfortunately has some bad grass mixed in...like dalisgrass.
I didn't install them sorry they do come with instructions when you order the wheels you have to adjust the caster nut from the wheels wobbling at top speed
brother you saved me....i was torn between the Revolt and Vride.......or turf tiger......im going Scag probably turf tiger
I have been cutting for 25 years. Scag is the best hands down. Best cut hands down

Hows this vs a 900 series Deere or Ferris?
This cuts at 10 mph with no problems

Hey Tim how are the tweels especially the front ones? How’s the mower doing? I’m close to buying a TT2
Just make sure you get the right spacer and make sure you tighten down the front caster to avoid wheel shaking
Are you still satisfied with the mower?
@@levertchaney3235 all day everyday I wake up with no concerns about the next day using my equipment
Had to get one 61” 40hp/ scag lights/ electric OCDC
Did you have to put washers behind them?
Behind what parts?
Maybe the tweels?

What trimmer holder is that you have?
Jungle jims with two extra straps to hold it down
@@TimothyIpmanchilds thank you sir. I like how that looks on there.
@@Patrick-co1qm and it's way more functional than what it looks lol
@@TimothyIpmanchilds I have the same mower and love it. I wish they made a servo that would lower and raise the deck. That would be cool
@@Patrick-co1qm I'm having issues with my parking brake holding I got to put it back in the shop for the third time
