Let me know in the comments what you would like me to react to in the future. - Zábava
Yeah fun fact for you: Reckless was requested to be the official soundtrack for TOP GUN, but the band refused because the song would have been removed from the album. They later chose Danger Zone obviously. Reckless in Top Gun is one of the biggest what ifs in the history of music ahah
That's a crazy fact
The memories of the Summer of '86 graduate high school see Priest twice on this tour. PRIEST!!!!
Thank god they were able to bounce back from this album!
Nice !I still love this album ! Judas Priest was also approached to allow "Reckless" in the Top Gun but declined, because the filmmakers have exclusive rights to the song and they could not have it on Turbo. They regret the decision. The extra track All Fired Up is great.
I listen to a wide range of rock / metal styles, so to me it's cool that Priest has evolved over the years and hits a lot of niches. Just some good-time fun 80's
For some people at the time, they would have different bands for whatever mood they were in, many of us just had different JP albums for that. Thanks for pointing out the fact of the diversity of sound they embodied. Last album of the 80s next.
"Reckless" was actually written for the movie "Top Gun" but later decided to not do it!!
One thing about this album is the guitar work is beautiful
The final three tracks from this album are much stronger than I remembered. I'm appreciating Turbo more as I get older, because I guess I realise that, although it was a sellout for Priest at the time, it still does what it set out to do very well. 🙃
Well said
Hot for Love was one of those "sleeper songs thateverybody forgets about but when they hear it by chance, they are like holy shit forgotabout that one. Most albums have that one song.
Thanks again for a great reaction. You enjoyed the album, and so did i. Priest went hair metal, and I hated it when I bought this album when it came out. But now, today, for me, I rate this album better than Screaming for Vengeance album.
Ram it down is a pure killer. Gonna be great going through it
Hell yeah! \m/
Hey man, think you'd dig the hell out of Tygers of Pantang Wild Cat album, song "Killers". Whole album is great.
This is rather unrelated to the video, but you should listen to the heaviest songs (I think anyway) by both yes and Genesis. The Genesis song is called “in the cage” off of the lamb lies down on broadway album, and the Yes song is called “south side of the sky” off of the fragile album. There could be heavier Yes songs out there, but if there is I haven’t heard them.
Check it out this prog Friday!
What's you favorite song on the album?
It might be Locked In at the moment but there's a few contenders
Reckless is in my top 10 JP songs. Great album, don’t care what anyone says.
What happened to Defenders of the Faith ? This is their worst album
Apparently, he's already listened to it, so like all other Priest songs he's already heard, he's not going to give it a repeat play through just for the channel.
Pity though. We miss out on the commentary for each song.
I also think that this album is their worst. I even might prefer Demolition over it. This might be OK for another band but not for Judas Priest.
I've not only heard it but I've also reacted to it on the channel awhile back, so you can still hear my commentary
This aint worse than Nostradamus 😂
@@salommyNostradamus is one best priest albums in my opinion
