The best part of your reaction is when you restarted the song and said you weren't ready. Noone's ready for Painkiller the first time. Keep up the great reactions. Stay Happy and Healthy
Thank you so much glad you enjoyed
Welcome to the metal family!
WE HEREEE
Painkiller? You sure you're ready for this one? This song is one of the best songs ever written.
They are seasoned. Been going since the 70s. One of the pioneers of metal. Glen Tipton was the guitarist. Other great tracks are:
You've got another thing coming
Hellion/Electric Eye
The Sentinel
Hell bent for leather
Green Manalishi.
Delivering the Goods
The Ripper
Some heads are gonna roll
The sinner
Victom of changes
Living after midnight
Bloodstone
Grinder
Love bites
It's so funny there are so many great songs you did not list. PRIEST!!!!
My dad raised me on Judas Priest. I was 9 when I heard Painkiller on MTV Headbanger's Ball. Sometimes I think people should start with an easier Priest song (I think a few might exist), but then again might as well jump straight into it! Priest is that group you want to get into listening to. My favorite from them is "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll". Judas Priest are, as they say in one of their songs, METAL GODS! You will never be the same after their catalog.
Thank your lucky stars you were raised right. 🎸
Their Live stuff is where its at, IMO, they ARE the Kings of Metal. "Victim of Changes", "Diamonds & Rust" and "Green Manalishi" are IMO their Best Live Hits! Rob Halford Is the Ultimate Metal voice IMO! Kansas City Exploded both times I seem them Live...Stax, they are on Tour Right Now. 50 Years of PRIEST! The early Guitarists are Glen Tipton and KK Downing!
🔥🔥🤘🏽🤘🏽
These Metal GODS have been going strong since 1968 and still playing in 2024... you should check out Between the Hammer & the Anvil and You've Got Another Thing Coming.
🙏🙏🔥🔥🤘🏽
Judas Priest was the single loudest concert I've ever attended. I mean we couldn't even speak to each other in the car on the way home. My ears were still ringing for like 3 days after. It was a really good show though. Probably their biggest mainstream hit (the 1 that got the most radio play) was "You've Got Another Thing Comin'". It's a little more 'chill' (by heavy metal standards) than "Painkiller".
I love reactions to this song.
If your face doesn't melt from the drum into ,it will from his voice.
Like others have said they have many hits going back to the 70's.
🙏🙏🔥🔥
Judas Priest is a world, each album is different, it has something for everyone 🤘🏻
🙏🙏🙏
Love Judas Priest ❤
Another head banger is "You Got Another Thing Coming"🎶🎵🎶🎵🎸
Thank You for sharing Stax, fantastic reaction ☮️
My pleasure!!
That glenn tipton with the long solo and kk downing with the last short shred solo..both badass but have there own style. Best guitar duo in history of rock music
🙏🙏🔥🔥
I love kks solo, it sounds like kk is bad touching his guitar
Not their typical sound. Their hits are much better, for someone new to this band; some not so new, as well. Thanks, Stax.
🙏🙏🙏
Yes, this was early Judas Priest and this is a banger ! Always enjoy your reactions Staxx! Don’t know if you remember I am the one who kept asking you to do battery from Metallica from the 89 Seattle concert and you did that and I appreciate it now I would really like if you would do a reaction to Eddie Van Halen‘s eruption guitar solo from the 1986 live without Annette concert You will be pleasantly surprised and in aww of Eddie! Please and thanks have a great day brother!
I will check it out!!! Thank you
NOT early Judas Priest this is Title track from their 12th studio release in 1990. Their first album was 1974. This is A LOT heavier than anything they did before this. Lead singer is now 72 and they still tour, last studio album was in 2016, their 19th.
this one is very hard to beat...even for Judas Priest...dual lead guitarists... Glenn Tipton and K. K. Downing...
🙏🔥🔥🔥
Welcome to "Mind-Meltage Extreme"!😎❤🎶🤙
Laf this reaction just suddenly reminded me of one of my friends from summer camp back around the time this song came out-a Black girl who was teased mercilessly by the other Black kids at camp because she didn’t like hip hop or rap, and wore metal t-shirts instead! She was awesome; wish we could have kept in touch, but we lived too far apart, especially back in the day when long distance phone calls were expensive!
Glad to bring the memories back 🙏
He has also been nicknamed "Metal God" by fans. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Judas Priest in 2022, via the Award for Musical Excellence.
Judas Priest ain't playin, that was awesome STAX!!!!!!!!
A great reaction to an amazing band.
These guys are rock royalty 👍
🙏🙏🙏🙏
They said Priest was old and done. Priest said here is Painkiller. The whole Painkiller album is fire!!!!
This reaction was GREAT!
I was introduced to Judas Priest in 1983, and I've never been the same since. 😂
Thank you so much
Busta Rhymes said "break ya neck". He literally meant it for you to break it to this.
I've been into this band since like I say the 1970s I have seen them live three times 1983 and 1984 1990 during painkillers screaming for vengeance 1983 defenders of the faith 1984 1990 painkillers
Bro this song is pure DESTRUCTION
FACTSSS
@@StaxReacts they're considered one of the pioneers of heavy metal. Awesome reaction bro
No. The Metal Gods is what Priest is. @@sergioleon2078
My favorite band and imo the best metal band of all time. Can't wait for more Priest reactions! They've been around since 1969 and they just released a new (19th) album in March and its incredible!
My suggestions for next reactions:
(FASTER STUFF):
-Freewheel Burning
-Screaming for Vengeance (live 1983)
-Ram it Down
-Invincible Shield (from this year's album)
(BALLADS):
-Blood Red Skies (Live from Epitaph) - its also my favorite song by them
-Victim of Changes (Live from Seminole)
-A Touch of Evil (from the same Painkiller album - live or studio)
-Beyond the Realms of Death (live)
Also some hits: Breaking the Law, You've Got Another Thing Comin, Living After Midnight...
Enjoy!!
🙏🙏🙏
What a hell of a song choice brother, judas priest is one of the all time greats hands down man. Incredible talent, and they are called the metal gods for a reason lol. Keep the metal bangers coming bro, awsome reaction.🤘🤘🤘🤘 react to some more judas priest, you will not be disappointed
For sure brother 🙏
My friends band opened as a local act for Judas Priest and Deep Purple in (I think) 2018. I got to go to the show. These guys are old A.F. these days and still as bad ass as ever. To be a Judas Priest fan you must now hear "Breaking The Law". I'm hoping to see them thisfall with Sabaton another amazing metal band you should check out.
I just now got on here to see what song you've done today and I can't believe this is the song! Awesome song and album! Nice job!
Thanks Mike!!!
Thats Glen Tipton on that lead.
🙏🙏🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
This song is just a freaking heavy metal freight train. Credit to the band for being able to sustain that kind of relentless intensity, for an absolutely scorching track.
🙏🔥🤘🏽
I know this will be a good reaction 😂😂buckle up😂
Yeah, you want this on your workout playlist!!!🔥🔥🔥🎸
Rock on!
Just like when Metallica came out with SPIT OUT THE BONE... JUDAS P. came out with this track to show they can still bring the heat 🔥 🎸🔥🤘🏽

🙏🔥🤘🏽
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaymn! That sh!+ was lit! Banger!!

2:30 The British invasion of heavy metal. That's what the fuck is going on!
Think about the fact they started in 1969 and are still touring today and just recently put out a new album
They're on tour. I'm going in the fall. They're live shows are a must see
I’m about to search them up to see if they’ll be coming near me
Rob Halford has one of the best voices in rock/metal. Check out their earlier work, especially Victim of Changes.
…..had the Privilege to see Judas Priest 3 time in my life….. British Steel tour (1980) Screaming For Vengeance tour (1982) & Defenders Of The Faith tour (1984) they are my favorite band of the 80’s ! ❤️🎸🔥 besides Metallica, which I seen 4 times in the 80’s ❤️🎸🔥 Lightning, Puppets (2) & Justice tours. Sad to think that the average price for all these tickets….. $8.50 - $15 for good seats 🫤

🙏🙏🙏
You should really listen to BEYOND THE REALMS OF DEATH
Live vengeance 82 version of Desert Plains is a must for total vocal range....enjoy😸👍🤯
Bettttt
Great reaction, been waiting for this one! Don't get me wrong, Priest has plenty killer tracks, but 'Painkiller' is the one that will blow you away. That's the nature of the reaction channel, I suppose - you sometimes get the best track first. I'm still recommending you check out black metal - not particularly because I think you'll like it, or it'll get a lot of views lol: but because it's a special direction that metal went, and I think it's valuable for people to hear it. It's my favourite genre anyway. Mayhem, Darkthrone, Emperor, and that's just for an intro. Bless Stax! Stay well brother
🙏🙏🙏
Check out the track Victim of Changes off there Unleashed in the East album.....badass!
Will doooo
Man great reaction 😅....now if you really want to get blown away.... check out their new song Invincible Shield!!!! 🔥🛡️

Please, please do some Unleash The Archers, "Tonight We Ride" (A Mad Max feel) or "Awakening" (Epic start to a story album).
Oh damn. You guys giving him painkiller.... just think Stax it goes even deeper then this. 34 yr old song. In 34 yrs metal has gone in so many different directions. Crazoest ive seen is black metal meets jazz
