I always thought it was strange that humans barely progressed throughout hundreds of thousands of years. Then technology exponentially exploded in the last 200 years. There's no reason this couldn't have happened multiple times before but a global catastrophe wiped everything out. Had the true first global human civilization continued to this day we would probably be traveling all over the Milky Way Galaxy by now. The physical evidence has been ignored by academia, subsequently the general public. There is an ancient route from there to Egypt and there are even structures with geroglyphs where Pharaons went staying this was the path that Osiris/poseidon traveled to go to Egypt and create a new civilization in the Zep Tepe era.

I agree with everything you said , however I think modern academia doe’s actually know more than they say they do , but it’s such a taboo subject usually anyone that approaches the topic , even with a theory , usually ends up ridiculed & labelled a pseudo scientist…. And from there pov , why would you shoot down your life’s work over a theory… because most of these people never actually go to the place… they view it from a screen. You’re likely aware of Graham Hancock ? He’s a great example for this , his latest Netflix series got quite a bit of backlash online.. calling him racist & everything else. Basically using arguments that didn’t apply too ANYTHING Graham did or said in the series 😂 and literally all he did was take a look at multiple old ‘Hunter/gatherer’ sites , and if anything, painted them in a hugely beautiful manner , only someone with obvious flaws would come to the conclusion of racism after watching his documentary…..😂😂 and look at them in a greater detail then some guys sat behind a screen… which most of academia chooses to do with this subject.
Graham goes out of his way to have established geologists & other acclaimed members of academia , giving there theories & allowing them to speak freely on what he’s brought them to see… or sometimes they’ve brought him to see.

i get all excited about this topic as well. one has to do a bit more reading and research than solely what randal carlson and the other guy profess. there are many books out there that actually cite information and studies with geological and archeological proofs. i hve actually ordered some off of thriftbooks. some of the reading is very dry indeed when they go into the explanations and citing research papers and arguements, when you research you find that what these latter day celebrities profess is actually a regurgitated subject matter from the original thinkers.

Well. Someone built a 65+ mile long 10 mile diameter tube that is resting on the ocean floor off the coast of Florida. I can see the meteor theory being true. Even tho craters are usually a big hole, given its location and supposed time of impact. I can see weather and erosion playing a significant role in flattening out the impact crater. Literal mountains of sand move around the Sahara with the wind. So with thousands of years of this, I could see how it would have an effect.
On the other hand I could see it being a manmade thing as well. Humans could have laid the foundation of a city using the stones. And same with my other explanation, with time, weather and erosion could have flattened it all out. And if it was very old, all the organic material used for building would be long gone. Explaining why only the stone is left behind. However I'm inclined to believe my first theory more since no human artifacts of any kind were found there. If it was an ancient metropolis, there would undoubtedly be atleast a few artifacts to unearth there.

There are hints in archeology that old civilizations were aware of dinosaurs and many old myths of dragons and other monsters may be rooted in that awareness. I have always believed there were some extremely advanced societies that we have no evidence of yet. We will never know it all, but I love to surmise. Even alien seeding or interplanetary travel is possible.
