Regarding Kevin Dunn, I am EXTREMELY happy about him being gone because maybe now they'll move away from the insanely quick camera cuts and the ridiculous zooming in and out during moments of action. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Regarding Kevin Patrick, I agree with you. I don't see him as the lead voice on one of WWE's top shows.

To this day, I don't understand why WWE got rid of Tom Phillips. I thought he was the next voice of WWE, I like him on commentary he was knowledgeable about wrestling and did a good job with telling the stories. WWE (or Vince rather) dropped the ball dumping him and getting outsiders to replace him.

I've been saying this for years too! Tom is a fantastic announcer and really gets the business. That was a truly baffling firing and to run Kevin Patrick out there every week as his replacement is downright shameful.

I do feel it’s time to swap Vic Joseph and Kevin Patrick. I know that would mean disrupting the chemistry between Vic and Booker, but Vic and Corey used to work together in the past and they can gel well on SmackDown. Add the fact that Vic can be available for PPVs in case they return to two announce teams to give Cole and Graves a breather
Yes! They had their next Jim Ross right in the palm of their hands in Mauro Ranallo, and like many other things that fans actually got liked and got behind, WWE screwed it up in one way or another as usual, and no, I doubt he would even want to come back, anyways, and who could really blame him??

In the world of announcing, Mauro Ranallo is a blend of Jim Ross and Vin Scully if they drank too much caffeine. The way the dude calls matches is something to behold and I don't understand why WWE didn't take into account the fact JBL was probably the worst broadcast heel for his babyface.

Man, I really miss hearing Mauro Ranallo on commentary. He was one of the main reasons why black and gold NXT was so awesome imho. I really feel for Kevin Patrick as doing commentary is not an easy job, but he just sucks so bad at it.

Letting go of Todd Phillips was a genuinely BAFFLING decision by the company. Vic Joseph, Adnan Virk, Kevin Patrick have all been extremely lackluster in the high energy lead role. Jimmy Smith was the only halfway decent option. I"m honestly shocked that the company has given THIS long of a leash to Patrick since he legitimately brings down the show. A move has to be happening soon like the article hints at.

Vic Joseph is more than capable of being the play by play commentator for SmackDown, just look at the work he’s doing on NXT right now. He’s not quite the Mauro Ranallo replacement that WWE was searching for but he’s leagues above Kevin Patrick.

He's Irish. Wade Barrett is British and he's fine in the role they have him in.
Kevin Patrick being bad at commentary has nothing to do with being Irish, he's just sucks. Conversely Nigel McGuiness who's English, use to work at NXT and currently works at Collision is a great commentator imho.

I just remember that the 2 persons he had issues the most are gone ,in his podcast & book, he said it was mainly Vince and Dunn that drive him crazy, and he praised HHH multiple times back in 2019

Mauro Ronaldo isn't good and he's a basket case. He will never succeed in the high paced WWE. The announcement teams this century has been absolutely horrific.

Try to step outside for a bit and understand not everything revolves around you. Yes, you don't care, but a lot of people do. Awards can be the difference or the thing that distinguishes you on a resume. They are also used when discussing salaries and promotions. False accolades affect a lot of people.
