I don't want my data go cloud, I want to back up my data to local with a more convenient way as there are many photo folders in my camera, I want to back them up once for all. Any good local back up app recommend ? Android.

Thank you! What a great info! Echoing your video "back up iPhone" as a pair 👍

I use NAS server to backup localy. Backing up all your information to cloud is not safe.

so that means that I don't have to give access to my email for google photos and I can just back up my gallery without having to pay or give storage (from my email)?

Well, i am usually not that critical of a video, but the current one is marginally "not click bait". The info contained herein is nothing that's not easily transparent to every average android phone user, through their devices. I would expect to find out about a method for backing up one's android device and restoring it "as is", after a "reset to factory defaults" for example or device replacement to a new one, kind of like, "HDD cloning" on PC, (maybe suggest an available app. as well?).

I have a problem though. My phone has malware right now and I don't want that infecting my other devices. Is there a way to save the files on my phone before I do a full reset?

Calling it Google One is confusing, considering there is MS One Drive. Isn't it just Google Drive?

I'm about to transfer/backup/copy? my Qtab data especially ALL my media files that have occupied 80% of my device's 10GB memory to my laptop by a loose USB cable, and those files are as old as March 2018, so i desperately want to backup those videos and images, because my Qtab is severely damaged physically for some unknown reason AND facing regular critical storage issues, and I cant risk losing my data. I hope i can save it. Any supportive comment would be very much appreciated! 😓 5:37pm 26.7.2024

It's just a phone for me, I don't have anything to backup that I haven't already done myself.

Who needs backups, just ask the government and they send you all your data.
