Fun fact. This got played in one of my screenings, it was only an ad available for a few days. I saw it on the 2nd.
There was also an ad for you to count how many ring movie sonic could collect in 10 seconds (being 14 rings)

I hope we get a christmas related intro for Movie 3. Maybe Robotnik dressing up as Robotnik Clause from Sonic Christmas Blast and trying to steal presents while a song called You're a Mean One Dr. Robotnik plays in the background. Sonic then spindashes to Robotnik Clause and saves christmas and says: "Merry Christmas everyone."

I can't believe it was actually found. For nearly 2 years i was kicking myself for not recording that April Fools intro because nobody expecting that to play.

When I first saw Sonic 2 and I noticed the intro was the same as Sonic 1, I got legitimately confused and nervous, worried that I somehow wandered into a screening of Sonic 1. (For some backstory: A few months prior, I got lost in the cinema, accidentally wandered into the wrong screening of Spider-Man: No Way Home (it was in another language, not English) and I missed about 30 minutes of the movie.)
I was the user who msg'd Lost Media Busters about the april fools video being lost media!
So happy its been found and I hope more lost media Sonic The Hedgehog things continue to pop up and get found :)

I went to see Movie 2 on April 1st, but sadly didn’t get the April fools clip for some reason

I dug deeper and found out that SEGA took footage of a video called "Sonic Le Film - Interview Sonic [Maintenant en vidéo]" and made Ben's voice go over it. So you can see Sonic sitting in that chair in HD.
