      We dont recommend using stream bars on corn taller than about 3-4”. If it gets much bigger, the liquid N is funneled by the leaves into the whorl where it can burn the emerging leaves.
      Drop nozzles are your better choice to apply liquid N to corn, especially if your wanting to apply some later in the season, ideally around V6 - V8.

    Will this work with forage sorghum or sorghum Sudan?

      If the sorghum/sudan is small, yes. But once it exceeds around 4-6” in height the leaves tend to funnel the N down the whorl which causes more leaf injury, especially at higher N rates. Wheat/barley/oats don’t have a whorl, so liquid N runs away from the plant.
