Everyone's already said it, but poor euphonium players I know that this is probably not your opinion, and someone suggested this instrumentation to you, but dang. Whoever did suggest these instruments should've suggested something like the ophicleide or sarrusophone, just to throw out some more useless ideas.

As a Euphonium player, outside of the wind band and brass band world yeah they are kinda useless. I still absolutely love my instrument but I get it.
