What instrument number are you? 🫢
Hi Luke, do you repair your instruments, or do you send them to a luthier?
None.
All I got is an old singing bowl from a few years ago.
19 because it's the best instrument and ANYONE WHO OPPOSES WILL NOT LIVE *to* SEE TOMORROW
BASS CLARINET IS THE BOMB FR
I lost the count a few years ago, and It's weird when you buy and make them as well! I would say 50 but that is a bad guess probably on hundreds as well
This man is the definition of a Multi-Instrumentalist. And my big question, How the heck can he live with guitar center's whole stock of an apartment?
Easy. He only has one of each.
He made a video apartment tour basically most of the small instruments fit in a closet
the fact he keeps all of it in a single apartment is crazy. i wanna be like this guy one day!
All of these instruments must be very expensive, but they're worth every penny!
He gets paid by CZcams so he can afford them.
@@ashleyr6809 yeah but those views he gets now don't make that much money and these instruments are really expensive and bills to pay and other necessary stuff to function are gonna make things difficult including taxes. He most likely has a job for a musician or something
I think most of these instruments are of medium range in terms of price. Also he seems to have been collecting them in the span of years so I don't think it has really broken his budget
@@wilhelmorangenbaum2 yeah
i think hes a geologist

With the b flat Trumpet, I have the solution for you so that it isn't as loud. I play Trumpet as my first instrument, and I have learned how bright they are, and you just have to get this thing called a practice mute, which is similar yet different to the straight mute, because the straight mute kinda curves or reduces the sound by like 40-50%, which the practice mute as in the name is meant to be used for practicing the Trumpet, as it muffles the sound completely to where only those surrounding you in the area can hear it and it won't become an obnoxious sound your neighbors have to listen to. Trust me, you wouldn't regret buying a practice mute one bit. They are harder to come by compared to straight mutes, I think you just have to walk into a music store and specifically ask for one cause I thought I had gotten a practice mute from my sister who is like 16 years older than me, but she bought one off of Amazon which I have lost trust in shopping there cause they ruined a music book I got for a Euphonium, but I apparently got a straight mute instead. So I would say if you can get your hands on a practice mute for the Trumpet, it will make practicing in an apartment much easier with little to no disturbance to your neighbors.
I just use an ajustable cup mute lol. works like a charm
Yeah mutes in general will help quiet the sound like a Harmon mute, Cup Mute. The Harmon mute is my favorite cool sounding jazz mute for trumpet🎺
Adjustable cup mutes work pretty well. I ended up getting the shh mute for my trombone and it is super helpful to be able to practice at night. The resistance isn't perfect but its close.
I’m pretty sure he owns a mute for the trumpet
@@AnemoWinds I don't think it's a practice mute though.
I can’t wait!!!! InstrumentManiac, you are the reason I am even in the music industry. Thanks for everything!! Without you I wouldn’t have a bass recorder, a piccolo, and every other recorder in the recorder family.
THE BAWU SOUNDS SO AWESOME
You absolutely have to play “Gusty Garden Galaxy” from Super Mario Galaxy that would be the best cover
I'm all in for the Contrabass Clarinet!
i like how you can hear every sound of the instruments, when you switch to it
You forgot instrument 114, your own voice.
116 mayonnaise and horseradish
Ngl I though number 113 was gonna be mayonnaise
You're so freaking awesome. I can't even believe all you've accomplished in the world of music. Amazing!!!
I absolutely loved this video! It's really cool getting to see all the instruments! I'm feeling super inspired to continue learning piano and ocarina on my own!
Imagine this guy gets a Bass Sax
Bari or BASS? Bass is better tbh.
@@user-qv9tg5su9v bass is far better i agree, also the first type of sax invented
@Gear100 I want a Bass Sax and a Contrabass Clarinet
@@user-qv9tg5su9v get a thomann bass sax, its only like 3k
You inspired me to keep my music journey going and get more instruments to learn
Im hella excited to hear that last one in action, it sounds really good.
Also that background track from the 111 instrument video goes so hard I love it
Just amazing!!! Thanks for continuing to push the limits of creativity. So well done🎉🎉🎉
You should do the toothless dance/driftveil city, you'd make it sound so cool
Oh my God, how much I've been waiting for a video like this! Thank you very much!
Just started watching this channel. I was super excited about this video and I love all the unique instruments!
Looking forward to the day you add the Baritone Sax 👀
It would be SO COOL if you could add the Eb Contralto Clarinet to your collection!! I played it throughout high school and miss it so much... And I'm sure you'd be able to do AWESOME things with it and show off how special of an instrument it is. Keep it up man!!!
Love your content and the way you talk about all of your instruments so much!!
Makes me want to go and play more music!!
Awesome breakdown of your collection!
I like that you include the sound of every instrument as you are going on
Estava esperando ansiosamente pra chegar, finalmente. ❤️❤️❤️
Man, thank you for a big help for me. Im from Russia and also have begun a bit making colection of musical instruments. Now I have not so much: castanets, jaw harp, kazoo and drum set. There will be xaphoon and harmonica too. But I've begun making this because of you, you just show me how you can be cool while playing all this instruments, i really enjoy it very much. Thank you, really
This is gonna be so amazing!
I am a Trombonist, and proud of it!
Thanks for the Tromboner joke it's one of my faves lol
Don't you mean a *tromboner*
you are honestly my biggest inspiration to collect instruments! i really hope to be like you someday knowing how to play so many instruments

Myself learning music, it's just so impressive to analyze the music and I just question how people come up with this kind of stuff. Hopefully one day I can become as good as even you!
That's awesome to hear!
I Love that the Instruments Play a Little Clip from 111 Instruments Whenever you Bring One Up, Love Your Videos!
Happy new year!!! 🎆🎈🎊
He missed his VOICE
Saxophone fam
Alto: 1:34
Tenor: 4:09
Soprano: 6:37
Sopranino: 9:32
I hope he gets a bari eventually
As a trombone player, hearing that makes me happy 😊
same
I’m glad he’s owning up to being bad at the trombone 😂😂
absolute editing hell. really appreciate it xD
So glad I was here for the premiere and per your request @instrumentManiac I’ll throw in the lick in my improvisation
Keep doing this videos and your covers please i really enjoy them ❤
the (bass) clarinet rep here is actually crazy from a bass clarinetist (originally flute) who started freshman year in high school cus none of the clarinets wanted to switch for concert season, you absolutely rock dude youre living my dream of wanting to play all the instruments lmao
That's something I ought do! Thanks for the idea :)
IM SO EXCITED 😈😈😈 THIS IS GOING TO BE FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for that explanation of acoustic guitar.
this man is living my dream
Hey man, I love evrything you do, and I have yet to see something you've produced that I didint like. Keep on playing man!
(Also my instrument is 52)
7!! I play piano, flute, clarinet, oboe, alto saxophone, soprano saxophone and church organ. I took up the oboe last May as it was a birthday present from my dear hubby. I rented one at first, now I have my very own oboe which is wonderful!! 🤩
We love this!!!!
Ok I thought band teachers were instrument crazy, but this brings this to a whole new level. Instrument literally #1 and if you need the flute to be heard better a fast trick hold it up at a horizontally completely straight.
Thank you so much I love your videos ❤❤ and your video are fire 🔥
Instruments and Excel documents in the same video? The crossover I didn't know I needed!!
Bro the way he just said “Um, this is my alto recorder. I can’t wait to sell it.” 😂
Thank you so much you have made me have a good taste of music. BTW I am learning saxophone any tips. Keep it up 🎷🎼
Just wanted to shout out your confidence to not let the haters get you. I was also bullied for being a guy who played the flute, so keep up the great work. :)
It would be amazing to see a colab of you and pedro eustache as he plays tons of different wind instraments as well. Also full of passion.
I liked how you played each instrument in the background when you introduced them
Freaking love this!
first 91 then 111 now 113.
been here the whole time
Hey Luke. on tuesday after my exam im staying after school to test out my schools 3 contrabass clarinets and maybe the one contralto that all have not been used in years. Im gonna be taking one home to practice!!!
Now I want to see a video with you packing all of these instruments into a van!! All of them!!!
Get The Tuba, Marimba, Penny Whistle, Tabla, Steel Pan, Steel Tongue Drums, Hand Pan, China Cymbal, Contrabass Flute, Upright Chimes, Timpani, Gong, Contrabass Recorder, And Baritone Saxophone.

It is impossible for one man to play so many instruments. Clearly this man is being mind controlled by sentient instruments.
Just listened to the background song, it's really good.
Amazing collection! 😃
I should do a video like this some day as I have a fairly big instrument collection too (not as many instruments as you have though). Btw, I also love the NAFs but find the limited range annoying sometimes. I have been thinking of drilling a thumb hole on one of them to see if I can get a couple more notes, but it's a bit scary in case I fail lol.
Te mereces todo el éxito que tienes en tu vida Luke. Eres un Hombre muy simpatico :) Muchos saludos desde Espana :)
I have a clarinet, bass clarinet (student model that goes down to low Eb), 2 trumpets (one of them is my late grandfather’s, I play on that one more) and a euphonium.
I just started learning oboe and I can agree with you, it is very picky about the way you play it too
Number 59, as a trombonist, i can say the sliding can get a lot of getting used to if you have played an instrument beforehand. In my personal opinion trombone isn't too difficult due to the fact that it doesn't use a reed and it doesn't have like a hundred buttons on the instrument itself. But thanks for the shout out to the trombonist out there! It's not very often that someone gives credit to someone who plays a trombone. Mostly to the people who play a violin, piano, trumpet and the popular instruments. (sorry for the long comment)
I’m a 3rd year trombonist, and I love trombone. It’s so fun to play. I only wish people stop calling us tromboners, lol
@@KoolPenguin_ I can fully agree with you, it gets slightly frustrating when people call us "Tromboners" because they think its funny. Also today's world does not take trombone (or at least most instument) seriously, but that is the world we live in. (I can also agree that trombone is an amazing instument)
This is unbelievable!
Wait… what are two more instruments ?!?!?!?!
This is truly a one man orchestra
At the beginning of March it's my birthday, I'd love you to play Scare floor from Monster and Cie. Thank you so much for your work. When I listen to your music I get chills.
That bawu sounds so cool. Ill be excited to hear what you can incorporate that with. Maybe some breath of the wild or tears of the kingdom? Always good to see you!
Luke! I know I been quiet, I am still here with the wagon! Riding along to finally catch up more with your videos. Adult life right?
Hope you been well and hope the new year is doing well with you :)
Can't wait for the 115 instrument collection video
I am instrument number 75!!! Anyone else notice that the background music was a remix of "The Lick", great work @InstrumentManiac!
Thxxx for the viola ✨
Nice collection can't wait for the addition of the melodica, underrated instrument
How does one manage to learn so many instruments? I just like to collect various instruments/get my hands on whatever I find, I want to learn all the instruments I can.
i didn’t know they made those little vibes and now i NEED one
The Bawu was so cool (last one)
im still waiting on that tuba
Saaameeee
2:45 Love that you are a Rickenbacker appreciator ❤
OMG Yessssss
I finally know why theres a reed on your cello!
I love flute. It’s delicate sound and underwhelming shape and size make people think it’s feminine. If you play flute it’s big props to you. It is arguably the most versatile instrument and takes the most breath. People believe it doesn’t take a load of air but from a brass player, it truly does.
Brass instruments have tubing which give resistance and control to how much air you put in. It basically stabilizes your support. But flute, is a straight tube. The air escapes easily and you are bound to run out quick.
so this guy left 2 instruments out of his 111 instruments video and decided to get more content lol
good musician tho. love your work
ITS FINALLY OUT
I recommend getting a tin whistle next, it's like a recorder but the range is a bit more limited and you have to control your breath more. Keep up the great work Luke!😄
Great Video! I wish i had half the skill you have hahah. I main Tenor Trombone (Slide and Valve). I am trying to learn the violin but its so hard!!
You are the best
Hey Luke, your skill is fantastic! I hope to someday learn to play at least one instrument as well as you play all yours. I know you said a while back that you'd like to branch out in your video game music, and I think you would do a wonderful version of the Starlight zone theme from Sonic the Hedgehog
The Alto Clarinet is my favorite instrument because of the piece you composed («Outer Fields» is certainely my favorite song!!! )
Contra altos better. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
@@HelloIAmNextToYou Never heard one, but I am sure you're right
@@user-qd1bk3zw3i just combine a bass clarinet and contr bass and you have contra alto
This is incredible, you are amazing! Thank you to my husband who sent me the link to your channel! :)
I will show your videos to my child!
Valentines day is on a wensday so I hope he does a careless whisper cover
It says in the video description “The Disco Lick”, meaning a song made out of The Lick in the genre of Disco I suppose? In any case, not Careless Whisper based off of that info.
Valentine's Day is next month, dodo
as a tromboner, I respect that you actually own one.
