@@Buttermybumandcallmebiscuit those were memes
The fact that music that is over 500 years old is still main stream and instantly recognisable

That was my first thought too, along with the Attack on Titan theme song and Freaks by Timmy Trumpets (mostly because of their use of brass)

If you want to get technical, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" is from 1939. It was originally a South African song by Solomon Linda called "Mbube" (eventually known as Wimoweh). "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" was an adaptation of the song to appeal to a western radio audience.

excuse me, but the Finnish "levan polkka" appeared much earlier than you said. It was written in 1937 by the composer and poet Eino Kettunen. The birthplace of this song is considered to be Vyborg (Viipuri), which by that time was a large and multinational city in Finland.
@@ketchupcubecraft So what? in this case, the classics should be listed several times, because they were popular at different times.

As a trumpet player for one year, just some months ago I thought this music was extremely complicated but now it looks achievable
As someone who’s played trumpet for four nonconsecutive years, these look doable with a little (LOT) of practice (but I just suck)

Old music, modern memes. Completely missed Mozart's "Leck Mich Im Arsch". A straight up vocal chorale about a desire to be rimmed. Yep. That Mozart.
@@americandumbass9716 you should watch the movie "amadeus"! You'll find out how crazy and cool he was
It wasn't the desire to get rimmed. "Leck mich am Arsch" is the German version of kiss my ass/go fuck yourself. He was fed up with whoever told him to write the piece so he called it "fuck you" basically.
“Lick my ass, lick it nice and clean” direct quote from the English translation of the song
After Mozart's death, it was given a new text and sold as a children's choral piece. The original text was rediscovered only recently.
Are you sure it's not "Leck mich am Arsch" which is just German for kiss my ass?

@@Ponkyollemenkey welp give me your soul

Wow, I NEVER heard the
"Pizza Delivery Theme"
(Could this only be a American thing?)
Maybe because it’s not the original title… it’s called « Funiculi funicula » by Pavarotti
It's a meme because it was used in a Spider-Man game on the ps2 for a mini game of Spider-Man delivering pizzas.
Not by Pavarotti, it's a now traditional melody from Napoli (southern Italy). Pavarotti was one of many to sing it. But it is from 1880 exactly.

Over here doing the crab rave dance while I'm supposed to be sleeping, just miming having crab claws. Perfection.
Obviously more important than practicing for band
Also, I have a question, how do you get such clear tone on low notes
Here's a tip always empty your spit valves before you play
You could try practicing pedals
Test different articulation patterns on downward scales
Practice
Different mouth pieces. Bigger the cup is the better low notes are. Opposite with the smaller cup
