Had foot/ ankle pain out of the blue yesterday on a walk. Stopped to stretch and do adjustment. Then able to get home with no pain. I don't know why that occasionally happens, but good to be able to work through it.

@@TomMorrison That's what I aught to do then. I had a calf building workout in my youth and can follow the ones you show here with my tubular bands. Thank you.

Definitely going to get into this, my physio recommended strengthening up my feet as I get sore muscles on the inside of my knees, she reckons could help to get feet firing up properly. Anyway, can only be a good thing!

Thanks, JP! Can’t wait for the advanced one. I’ve added this bandwork to my Toebility and Ankles routine.

Really useful thanks. I travel a lot and was wondering if you could be a routine for stretching on long haul flights.

I desperately need to do this! I've had knee/ankle/shin pain for a while now and still waiting on a physio appointment!!
Of course, it's a Friday night, so I'll do it tomorrow, when I'm not p****d 😂

What do I need to do to be able to sit like that? My quads just do not enjoy that position at all.
    Thanks

Not sure if this will help specifically, but is there anything else that can help with massively overpronating feet? I have no natural arches at all since birth, and for the past year no matter which shoe or orthotic I wear lets me walk for more than 20 mins with out pain, which becomes more agonising the longer I go. I know strengthening will help, but I'm not sure if this will help build somethjng that was never there, as opposed to something like plantar fascitis (to rebuild an injury)? Sorry if confusing, I just want to walk and get back in to excerise without being in continual pain, and you guys seem savvy. Thank you.

    Thank you for this.
It's almost 6 maths after I had a foot fracture.
Is it ok to do these exercises??
Also I don't have a resistance band hence is it ok to do these exercises without a band and will it be effective?
    Tks

Great toe spread! Mine is getting better. Do you have any tips for that?
Also I noticed you have large bunions. How did that happen? When I was doing bodywork I most often saw them in women who spent a lot of time in high heels.

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  Před 3 měsíci +2

spending more time in your barefeet and simply doing more toe spreading & crunching can help!
JP actually broke his big toe which gives the appearance of bunions even though he's got super healthy feet. But it can happen to anyone who wears too tight footwear (most of us), it's just a slow dislocation of the toe joint over time!

@@TomMorrison Thanks! My habit is to put on my shoes first thing after I get up. I can change that. I've been doing a lot more walking lately, and I've been trying to concentrate on relaxing and spreading my feet in my shoes as I walk to get a bigger and more relaxed base. And several months ago I started lacing my shoes much more loosely. I seem to be having less foot fatigue and definitely no pain.
