    Your "yes/no" stretches are what originally brought me to your channel. My massage therapist sent me to you. She's taken your online courses and passes on your moves to her clients.

    That was so relaxing - thank you! But, silly question from an ignorant: it it ok for one hand to be a bit tingly/numb afterwards for a minute or so? It feels a bit odd, cause otherwise I feel as if I'd released som tension I didn't even knew I had.

    Hi Tom, how come when I do neck exercises I sometimes get dizzy and feel like I can't breathe? I see a neurologist regularly for migraines and have had my nerves looked at as well as a neck and head MRI with no issues other than mild spondylotic changes and a small bone spur. I have anterior pelvic tilt and forward posture as well as severe TMJ. Maybe just positioning?

    Hey, i wear bearfoot shoes, only shoes ever found comfortable, however over last few months ive notice that my foot gets all the pressure on outside of my foot and then noticed my foot leans inwards which explains all pressure on outside but is this ankle mobility or stretching or a condition now? As now it sends pains to my knee

    • @TomMorrison

    I’ve been trying to relax my neck before sleeping like I’ve seen in another video of yours. It’s been helping but how do I stay relaxed while sleeping? I always tense up and push myself into the headrest.

    • @TomMorrison

    every time i turned my head, in each of those positions it pinched at the base of my neck like it needs to pop but isn't quite where i can do it myself - the muscles feel better for this so I will persevere - but I think I might need I chiro. mine retired several months ago and I have been miserable without her

    • @TomMorrison

      Try a good physiotherapist! Always good to strengthen the muscles instead of adjustments

    • @karenmain9716
      @karenmain9716 Před 3 měsíci

      @TomMorrison my only issue with physio is that I'm hypermobile. My dr has a suggested possibly Ehlers Danlos based on my flexibility, plus a number of other symptoms. So ive found that a lot of the stretches given by the physio I've seen aren't super effective. What I consider limited motion for me, is normal to flexible for most.

  • @jc10747
    @jc10747 Před 4 měsíci

    The hip does what? It’s shadowed in the video so not sure what you mean verbally. You want the hips to stay square to the front while only the torso rotates? And why is that done before the neck stuff?

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  Před 3 měsíci +1

      yep exactly! Hips stay facing forwards as your torso rotaties! It's to help get the rest of the spine moving (especialy the thoracic spine) because the neck is just the top section of the spine. If something downstream is stiff it can be contributing to a stiff neck!

    • @jc10747
      @jc10747 Před 3 měsíci

      @@TomMorrison good, thanks! Did it just now while sitting on my heels Japanese style. That keeps the hips locked, but my ape-like arms are too long and drag on the floor…so added wrist flex too, Iron Man style. ;)
