    Perfection.
I know weight should be on your right leg and your right knee should be bent approximately 75 degrees but somehow i miss some of the things.
Your videos are pure gold, i see similar content on the youtube but those guy are just copying your style if I may say.
I notice and couple of my friends from clu,b that some of your graphic from video started to show up to the other people channels.
Thank you for your effort and energy to share stuff like this.
    Keep good work !!!

Thank you Coach, I found this video and think this will be a great source for our young throwers to reference. I find it helpful to break the circle down like a clock and it helps to identify spots for the new throwers as they execute the three stages of their glide and throw . Thank you for refering to the taller throwers too. When they are on the balls of their feet they ready to pop into action. I also like to remind thm that nothing in the ring is ever executed properly flat-footed. Best wishes for continued big throws!

a decathlete here, thanks so much, this is exactly what i needed. i feel that i'm a solid athlete but coming out out of my glide before, i felt so unbalanced and unstable every time, this helped a lot.

@@aretethrowsnation I tried the taller stance and it felt so much smoother. The shot landed in the same place every throw instead of all over the place when I tried getting really low. With practice, I think it will go farther while being smoother. Thanks

I haven’t tried shot put yet but im a little intimidated of stepping into the training grounds against guys much younger than i am

If you just want to be a decent shot putter (and nowhere near national champion) remember that Masters Track and Field categories start for people from 35 and proceed in 5 year age categories. I did a little in my early 50s and re-commenced just before turning 70. I have achieved 12 metres and I'm still using youtubes like this one to try to get better technique. So just saying you can enjoy the event, the comraderie and still get better for years to come. And as of 50 the weight of the Shot goes down a kilogram every 10 years to account for ageing.

Hello, sir I'm 5'9 my weight is 100kg I'm 18 years old ,4 years ago (at 8th grade,14years old ) I did 9.xx metre in shotput (4kg) now I am stronger and bigger I think I can make up to 16 metres or so, I haven't tried since last 4 years. Do body building help in throwing longer distance

KERL KUBER body building is a different focus than power development. Many Exercises in bodybuilding will have benefit as assistance lives in an athletic development program. But focusing on things like Olympic lifts; snatch, clean, squat variations etc. will provide better results than a straightforward bodybuilding program.

Why do piller 2? False movements do not create distance. Wasted energy. Stay down, lift the leg parallel to ground. Chest naturally goes out side of ring. " T " position your body makes. Squeeze knee to knee. Drive leg like your kicking a small cone and land to power position. Don't flip the leg in the air.
