I made this video to provide a broad understanding of all the Seiko Automatic Self-Winding movements. My goal was to make a video that is informative without going into deep technical detail.

Accuracy Metrics:
Most of the time watches will be more accurate than the stated movement accuracy. This is because the stated movement accuracy is just the manufacturer’s minimum accuracy guarantee.

It's worth it also for viewers to know that most, if not all of the 4R3X series of movements are sold by Seiko to other watch manufacturers as Seiko NH3X movements. Many micro-brand watch sellers use these movements in their watches.

They are not technically called Seiko NH3X but TMI NH3X.

Nice video, however, seiko spring drive movement does not have a VPH.

Thank you for pointing that out. I really thought spring drive movements have a VPH but it is then controlled electromagnetically to regulate the flow of energy.
