Brings back memories of the old TV series “Sky King” great video and one beautiful model.
Nice looking bird. Good that HH is bringing us something different. Great sticks on a knurly windy day.
Very nice vintage plane, Awesome maiden and great flying and a windy day. Enjoyed watching but will wait till it's in stock to hit the buy button.
On a fantastic related note, a Beech 18 named "Miss Main" flew past our airfield this week as I was flying, it was landing @ our local airport ..I got a nice pic, she is all over Pinterest & the rest of the internet..😄👍🏻
Great Beechcraft Demo Ryan and Dillon, looks like a Great twin for some fun flying, Matt Younkin style. Jeff in LA USA
Excellent windy work Boss!✅
It’s called differential thrust Ryan, not vectoring. Just an FYI, not meant to chop the delivery. Definitely a new “bellybutton airplane” everybody needs one!
I bought one had to have it!
It’s a neat one
That’s a awesome looking and flying bird! Great job guys! Dillan rocked it on the camera also! 🤙✈️😎
Thanks Ryan. Always look forward to your video's. Cheers Dude!!!!!
E-Flite did NOT disappoint! What a refreshing new offering that looks like an awesome scale experience. It’s also great to see old school Pilot Ryan bringing us a review!! I hope there’s more this Fall.
Vintage aviation indeed. Gorgeous aircraft and great shakedown.
Been working aviation going on 25 years. My first Director of Maintenance had one of these, I was 26. Polished aluminum, spent a few Saturdays on the buffer myself. Gorgeous airplanes. Using differential thrust on the ground, especially these old tail draggers was/is common practice. I may have just found my next model!!!
HI RYAN AMAZING PLANE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING SIR.
TAKE CARE HAVE A GREAT WEEK RYAN 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼👍🏼
A great vintage addition, brilliant flight 👍🏻
HI DAD'S RC 🇬🇧✌🏼
@@mikebird8290 Hi Mike 🫡
I like the vintage look with twin props. Cool!
Love the vintage lines. Nice videography too!
I love that era of flight!
Is a very cool airplane.
I've actually flew in a beach 18 in the right seat what an experience and I think e-flite will sell a lot of these what a nice model
Boy she’s quick.
One heck of a cross wind landing 👏👏👏. She’s gorgeous, these are gonna sell out before the first shipment even arrives 😂
Great job, Aced the landing! What a cool vintage model, WOW!
Boys Havin fun!
Great airplane, tons of fun and flys nice. I Hope they make a bigger version of this. 80”-100” wingspan would be rad.
Cool plane ,and it has lights. We like that. Screw looking at the wind sock. I want to see more of those sexy black socks your wearing . Lol. Great job. Love your videos. Thanks.
Great to see some old fashioned pilot Ryan style talk through and flying on a new bird. Fun video brother!
Love it! Sweet plane. We need more classic planes like this!
Nice camera work Dillon !
Dang, amazed to see them do something other than another Mustang, Corsair, or Trojan with new electronics and new paint job! Truly shocking!
usually im more into the warbird side of things, but for that one i can make an exception, awesome looking plane...very good job guys
Love the excitement and enthusiasm. Great review and shake down.
Nice job Horizon, a beautiful unique vintage aircraft, Ryan never fails to disappoint, great review ❤️
Hi Ryan. You just sold a few of these for Horizon. What a cool model.
Love the socks pilot Ryan 😂. Excellent video and cheers to Eflite for a vintage example of modern RC aero modeling. Very cool.
THEY GOT TO RELEASE A NEW EDF
Good looking plane and nice flying!
Stunning model, great it has differential thrust, looks and sounds amazing.
Sweet.
Ordered.
I hate this pre order stuff but I have placed the order😁😁😁😁😁
Outstanding,I love this. I made myself one from blue foam a few years ago.
Looks like a sweet heart Ryan. I love the twin beech craft. And always have. You definitely had your hands full with that cross wind. Nice job 👍👍😎🤘👊
Ooh nice, differential thrust. That’s pretty cool
Hey that looks good flying too! Beautiful historical scale bird..Horizion Hobby/Eflite providing the answers to our dreams once again!
It’s about time since the cirrus, this has been only the second release that has me excited this year as far as prop.planes. From horizon. Grate job guys.
Great Vid! Thanks
Super nice vintage airplane. So they mixed in thrust differential with rudder already? Awesome!
Props to Silver Props
Beautiful aircraft
NICE !! Grate job Guys !!!!!
When you threw full flap it was like you hit an wall, lol.
This plane is great!
Differential thrust is very nice. I use it lol my twin and triples
a float set would be trick on this plane
Very nice looking plane! 😃
Beautiful aircraft, damn good review, great camera work.....
I bought the NX8 from you today, thanks
Thank you!
@@PilotRyanMedia it worked great I was able to get my used UMX timber flying.. until I stripped the elevator servo. I might be back next weekend to buy a larger plane that is beginner friendly
Would look good with my park zone Stinson retro man loving a bit of civilian aviation mind you I like anything that flys lol
about dam time will we see a bonanza Barron and starship be for we all die
Hey hey
nice giving the ax3x a work out
I want it
Hi Ryan. What size batteries are you using?
What’s better between this one and the Cirrus 1.5m?
Isn’t it called differential thrust?
Would you have a picture of where your CG is the book is confusing
I didn’t get a book on this one
So, does neutral rudder give same thrust from both motors and right rudder decreases left motor thrust?? . Can the PNP version fly well without stabilization ( not using Spectrum system products)?
When I putting right rudder left motor decreases and right motor increases. So yes
Seems kinda herky-jerky? Maybe too windy or not enough expo?
Ya, winds! Looks like a light plane..my Cessna, Cubs, and Timber get bounced in similar conditions..my Commander MPD too but with foreward CG, mid flaps & power things are smoother..so long as you keep nose down & use flap-lift.. remember to keep speed up when there is turbulence..I made that mistake with my tricycle gear 2.1M Cessna 150 in a low approach, unintended nosewheel landing from 1½ feet as wind gusted 20 mph from behind..180°shift.. I set up a low slow approach, got 300 feet down runway, then 💨🛬💥🤯🥺😱🤬😭.. Haha, all good now though!
Does the motor differential stop once the gear goes up?
No sir. It works always
Any reports of Tip Stalls? Someone at the field today tip stalled the plane
Ryan any idea how this differential thrust is programmed
Not at the moment
@@PilotRyanMedia if you do end up figuring it out would you please let me know as I want to be able to increase the amount of differential to be able to do flap spins but not sure how that’s done and if the differential can be turned on a off
Do we have an estimated ship date.?
Website says September
@@PilotRyanMedia I ordered through your link so hopefully it works correctly, because I am on an i pad instead of a PC.👨✈️🐀😁🇺🇸
Nice Socks !
LMAO 👊 🤣
That looked well unstable ? , or was it very windy on that day?
Very windy
You asked us to mention what we would add, but subtraction might be more interesting here. Imagine how much more capable a plane like this would be without the scale details. The high resistance windshield, the gross faux-radial engine cowlings. I have a background in full scale, and believe me, GA pilots would love to be able to shape the plane like a sport R/C model with no hideous bulges to accommodate humans and internal combustion engines. Be proud of your zero seaters, they are technically more elegant than the real things. Do not degrade your models by trying to make them look like cumbersome crewed craft!
sweet ,be 5200 bat have no smaller lol
Luv the subject. Hope you do another day, non-north wind. Stability in air of this video was not a sale.
Most wont fly in that mess, most don’t have video deadlines either🤣looking forward to taking it back up
@@PilotRyanMedia ha. some have to pay for the plane. A do over will settle it
Ryan, I'm getting a message about a prize. I'm not clicking on anything because I'm sure it's a scam of some sort. How did I win a prize, without entering a contest?
From where
@@PilotRyanMedia From, your site. It's telling me to go into Pilot Ryan media to text you about it. It's obviously a scam, I see now, because you don't know anything about it.
I’m
I wonder if you can cut one motor in flight would open up a bunch of opportunities.👨✈️🐀
Haha, she'll flip over on her back faster than ya know what's happening! Cut power quick & nose down for speed..keep nose low and speed high on single motor..will take a lot of rudder & some slip, then if you add flaps keep nose down keeping speed! Lose speed, lose control!
I want this airplane. Does anyone have 400 bucks sitting around that they aren't doing anything with?
Oh and for having a gyro in it. It looks terribly unstable and twitchy....
Differential thrust... (not vectored) just saying
Man 18 was one of my favorites. I was excited till I watched this video...
That’s a jerk thing to say
@@PilotRyanMedia Just an observation...
What would I add?
I'd make it out of wood.... And twin 3 cyl radials....
That would be nice.
