    You are the man. I was about to sell my Ninja because it would not record to camera and ninja. Canon is so wishy washy in the menus. When I shot sony it was straight forward. Thanks so much.

    I love the heartbeat you have synced with the flashing red record indicator light on the camera.

    If you press record from the camera, at 29:59 both Ninja and R6 stop recording. That's another important detail!

    thanks for the video!! Man I have a question. When I record on my ninja V, everytime I look at the footage the screen on my ninja V have all the menu setting in it. How do I turn that off?? Thanksss

      It's your HDMI output settings in your camera. Video mode - Meny 1, tab 8 - HDMI display. Set it to External only.

  • @QuackAttackTheKingOfQuack

    what luts do you use for Canon R6

    • @persvanstrom
      @persvanstrom  Před rokem

      I hardly use LUTS for my R6 tbh. I got many "presets" powergrades in DaVinci I use, but no LUT. I obviously use a Canon "normalisation" LUT for my Ninja V (the Canon standard), but not much than that. I use several LUT'S for my two C70's, but thats a different question :)

    Is it possible to output to HDMI with a clean signal and still record internally? And I do you know if the menus are accessible on camera not externally?
    Intrigued to see if you know as i thought it wasn’t even possible to record internally while the camera had something in the HDMI

    • @jiasios
      @jiasios Před 9 měsíci +1

      You must "clean" your output by pressing the "info" button.

    • @naughtalistv
      @naughtalistv Před 8 měsíci

      its not clean if record is still flashing on the recording from the hdmi feed

  • @andyk6344

    Nice feature but how about overheating (R6) if you are recording in 4K at the card as well as the ninja for a longer time?

    • @persvanstrom
      @persvanstrom  Před rokem +1

      That is def. a problem :D But sometimes when doing super important shots, shorter, I like the redundance of dual recording, but tbh, 95% of the time I only record to the Ninja.

    But one question is how do we enable both display on Canon R6 LCD + external monitor while recording internally only? Is that possible? Let's say I'm using a budget friendly monitor which cannot record

    • @persvanstrom
      @persvanstrom  Před 6 měsíci

      You can't record to card while having both screens on unfortunately. I don't know why they made it that way. The only workaround (if you need external for exposure tools) would be to set it to external, make your settings, go into hdmi settings, turn off dual screen and record. Not ideal to say the least, but it's all I got..

    • @werlangbuhphang1841
      @werlangbuhphang1841 Před 6 měsíci

      That really sucks big time. But thanks a lot man. I guess I'll just have to go for the hdmi recording enabled monitors if I need dual display, yeah?

    • @persvanstrom
      @persvanstrom  Před 6 měsíci

      yeah, I can do this on my C70, but doesn't help you :( I will comment here if I find a fix or if I missed something.
