What’s the name of the connector at 1:35? I need that to connect my pipe to the pressure washer but I’m clueless about this stuff
the black one is a thread connector, the other is s standard hose pipe connector, u can show to any diy shop they will guide u
Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use czcams.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

That manual is an absolute joke, I only bought one of those silly adaptors thinking I only needed one, turns out I need two and not even one came with the god damn thing?! What the hell were they thinking

'Both connectors have a stop feature, so make sure you are getting the right connector'. You should explain what the 'right connector' is and what both of these connector types are and why it's important. Connecting an 'aquastop' type connector will damage your pressure washer. Only use the 'aquastop' type of connector to a garden hose end attachment. You need a straight through hose connector on both ends for a pressure washer. You also need to run the pressure washer with the power OFF and the water supply connected first to remove any air locks which can also damage your pressure washer.

Thank you. The "now attach to pressure washer connector " - that is my problem. My machine does not seem to have a way to fit it on. It was useful however to see that i need to buy an additional connector.

Same, only mine flew out of the pressure washer itself while tap is open. I guess this solves it.
I’m wondering if I need to warm the pipe first. I have karcher pipe and K2 but both ends of the hose is leaking like crazy. What’s the solution please?

I have a question. I have a karcher k5, I plug it in a bathroom faucet, but, the pressure is too high from the faucet and my hose gets disconnected either from a karcher plugin or the bathroom one so it makes a mess every time I try to use it. What do u think I should do?

I have done everything right I have a karcher hose connector but it is still leaking?
God forgive me but it's so refreshing reading the posts others have left about hose pipes bursting off the tap / problems with hose connectors. I bought a karcher years ago and effectively couldn't use it because of all the problems. My outdoor tap originally came with a brass hose connector. I was advised to take it off and use the plastic one that came with my garden hose. Now I can't get the plastic one off and the (stronger) brass one is sitting in the kitchen doing nothing. Why can't everything be universal? Thre are too many compatibility problems. I give up!
Will it work with hozelock?
Whenever I turn my jetwash on and my hose pipe on my hose pipe always bursts out? What do I need
do u need to use the stop connectors I have 2 free flow ones and mine is connected to my kitchen tap with a hozelock connector and when I take my hand off the trigger it blows the connector off the tap

A trick I do is to tie a cable tie over the trigger and control the key washer by the power button on the unit. I find my hands ache after 5 mins otherwise

There should be a lock button on the trigger. Cable ties could be dangerous in an emergency
FYI Karcher recommend NOT to use aqua-stop connectors !

get a universal kitchen tap to hose pipe connector cost few pounds online or local builder shop
Hey I've only got 1 force stop connecter, but the place I bought the outside tap from said it has a value check in it. So will I be able to put just the one on the karcher side. Thanx
if u have a thread on the tap then u need the connector like shown in video, if u want you can use ur kitchen tap just purchase a universal tap to hose pipe connector
I do this but at the attachment of the pressure washer the water hose clogs up and hose gets bigger, water won’t go in the machine
Turn on the water source…
Do not turn on the pressure washer immediately…
Check for a constant flow of water out of the gun, provided the gun trigger is pressed to on mode…
Constant outgoing flow means all air is out…
Now turn on the pressure washer.
Do you get just a standard garden hose? Any particular size ?
What about pipes that have no thead? Do you have a video on that sir?

I noticed using a normal hose is useless on power washers, you need to buy a thick NTS Pipe, this stops the pipe from squeezing and putting strain on the motor.

make sure hosepipe is not tangled n all connections are fitted correctly
