I run that fuel pump. I feed it 12v as I come into the burnout box and unfeed it on the return road. All other times 30% supply is plenty

Doug at motion race works has a video saying to run the aeromotive pump with a switch to go from low voltage for starting and pit driving and a full 5 volt for full throttle. That way you're not relying on a dodgy tps to control the pump.
I suspect he'll be driving it straight from a DPO on the Nexus R5.
