I'm not even German, I'm American, and I really wish more military shooters used Flecktarn. Such an underrated but awesome camo pattern; I love using it in ArmA 3 and DayZ on servers that have it, as it is arguably the best camo for Chernarus.

yeah i bought the airborne shirt as a microtransaction because it's the only one i wear when i unlock it. So i figured if i just have it at the start it solves that issue, and I swap to Tigr when i finish sew it good. I really hope they don't make quest clothes into microtransactions but just level unlock clothes i think are fair game

Tattoos, watches, gloves, camos, sunglasses, beards, armbands, new outfits, weapon paints (just basic camos, you buy a spraycan and it can be used indefinatley in the hideout if you find say the right paint in the game), tape on guns for aesthetics and so on.
Edit:
Bigheads collaborating with things like star wars, lotr, anime and so on but they are only in the hideout. Just stuff to customize your hideout and show off on your profile page. 10 dollars for say the classic star wars characters would sell so well to any star wars fans.

@@balinthehater8205 just use made up stuff or names for most of the stuff. They already do in many cases and many companies love to be part of something like eft as it is free marketing or even paid marketing where they even pay bsg. That is largley how games like fortnite operate.

I want to see them let someone else run the servers. They still handle all of the development, but let someone else (e.g. FaceIt) host the servers in the US with anticheat and integrity at the forefront.
And for cosmetics, they could really go wild with the hideout. People would go absolutely nuts if they could get a base pet that hangs out in their hideout. Imagine having a cat that occasionally jumps up on whatever station you're using, or a dog that hangs out with you. Imagine if you could get different CD's and records to play in the hideout, or perhaps customizeable stations like they have in rust. Maybe even placeable stuff, like little potted plants, and tech-inspired labs lighting. People would absolutely eat that stuff up. Has Nikita played animals crossing?
Here to say: while Tarkov may be dead to me after 4 years, man, the content will always be good

That Lego set was definitely NOT a bad financial decision. That thing is sick as fuck.
The only issue I can see is "Pay to Win Camo." Because if they decided to add in ghillie suits, white out clothes (for snowy maps), or anything of that sort, you can see how people can gain an advantage for using said skins. Maybe just regular clothes to monetize that doesn't give advantages in certain environments would benefit it entirely. Like what you said though, they need to add colors that's available for everyone.
Also, instead of clothing, they add in specialized reticles. Like adding in color reticles to certain scopes. Or, add in special dogtags where players can customize what dogtag they like and they can show off when they die. Badges would be cool too, just not over priced (unless it's trademarked and has a collaboration.) Maybe add in special weapon skins too that can add a "clean" finish to the weapons you have customize. Blackout M4s, Blue Steel Five-Seven, just stuff like that.
To be honest, all I want is better lighting in buildings and more competitive games to go against the monopoly that Tarkov is. IT'S SO ANNOYING TO GO INTO INTERCHANGE.

camouflage is cosmetic, and camouflage is a gameplay mechanic, selling cosmetics for the PMC will become P2W. instead I suggested cosmetic MTX for the Hideout.
The default clothes you start with is a camo that works just fine.

i dont think any star-wars-space-ship can be considered a bad financial decision.
I thought a neat idea would be a hideout station for adding weapon "finish" where you could craft different camo'd weapon parts using existing weapon parts and "contraband" paint that could only be purchasable through a "black market" separate from the flea for real money.
1. Obviously this wouldn't be something players could sell.
2. You could even potentially make it more profitable by making the paints work in a similar way to "camouflage" in world of warships, where one purchase gives you so much paint and when you lose the weapon pieces you lose the paint that came on them, so it would encourage you to use it carefully or just spend $5 a month or so to 're-up' on paint

I'd imagine he's aware but I looked at the shop. The options currently available are crazy minimal. There should be a way to access it in your hideout instead of going to their wprice. As well. BSG are a bunch of geniuses. They desperately need help in the community PR department but they won't ask anyone for it. Too much pride.

I paid 150€ for EoD to support the development of EFT. The money was used to develop a different project which turned out not to be profitable. And in return they made Unhinged... I mean Unheard Edition and tried to bug out from delivering what I paid 150€ for.
That's not even an EA-level dickmove. With EA at least I know that I will miss my hard earned Euros.
The only thing that makes me not regret my investment of 150€ is the included opportunity to play SPT without cheaters an pretty much anything I could wish for... And without Nikita being able to screw it up.

Think my favorite idea for battlestate to monetize cosmetics would be reskins of hideout components. Like how in Fallout Shelter you can pay like 5 bucks and your power rooms look more modern. If i could shill BSG three dollars to turn that stupid porta-potty in my hideout into like a bathroom stall I would do it immediately. Weird to me that this has not been done already, especially since it wouldnt take very long, just a simple remodeling job instead of configuring rig patches or meshing new PMC clothing.

If you play SPT, there's a mod that allows you to wear any of the clothing items in the game, and they all look fine (even boss clothes) in first person. There is 0 work to be done other than applying a way for people to pay for those items. All of it already exists in game.

There are so many types of camouflage and uniform patterns. I totally would love to have more choice on what to wear. The reason I didn't buy any of the avaible stuff was that in my opinion that none of it looked good.

In my opinion they need to add another Trader that sells some sort of paint or skin for your weapons that you can apply. They can have base skins that you unlock through your level and tasks.
And then they can have a bunch of other skins that you can pay for. You should be able to pick up other people's weapons that have skins on them. But you can't paint them yourself unless you have them unlocked.
There are so many cool camo patterns they could add for cosmetics.
but they added skins to purchase for operators outfits with unheard editions... we can also purchase extra inventory space. btw unheard edition is extending stash and that was a main reason to upgrade it

5 dollars is not a pipe dream. Remember that this makes other attire and new offers more appealing as opposed to what you're already wearing, whether it's at a premium or not.

What happened is BSG already had an idea of what future dlc was. All this arena and unheard of stuff is all last minute. So I doubt these things were worked into the budget when EOD was being thought of. They should’ve been more transparent or have referred to is as “season passes, etc”.

I think you should be able to spray paint gear and guns, you get a flat green, tan or brown (leave it up to player choice) for free and extra colors are like 2 bucks a pop, or you could get a pack of 3 colors and a stencil for 10

They should seperate any solely purchasable clothing by making it available at another vendor or separate menu from the standard ragman one, like fence handling all the bought cosmetics would be cool.
The offline mode could be one of the best ways to monetize the game if they made it a separate purchasable game like arena, with a price tag lower than standard edition.
The upsides are that 1. New players can try out a low-stress version of Tarkov without paying too much.
2. Battlestate won’t need to pay extra money to keep servers up for the people buying the offline mode.
3. More players get into Tarkov, obviously increasing sales as they buy the regular versions.
4. If they don’t want people modding Tarkov this would be a great way to weed out other single player mods naturally; if you have the option of buying the standard edition and then making it offline or just buying a cheaper offline version you’re obviously just going to buy the cheaper version, thus removing one of their competitors.
I really can’t see how Battlestate messed this up so badly.

If last hero had come out with arenas launch, they wouldn't have had such a huge issue with arena. There already weren't many people looking for csgo with a tarkov skin, they were really looking for a good ole death match, slamming kit after kit to get and stay in action.
