- What are the 10 prettiest towns in the county of Oxfordshire? To determine this, I visited them all. Here's what I found out.
As a disclaimer, this list is neither a social commentary, nor a guide on which are the nicest towns to live, but purely a judgement on the aesthetics of each respective town centre.

Good to see my home county in video. I was born and raised in the county and still live there. The only break was my time in the Army where I came to appreciate Dorset as well. I think you could have made it 11 and included Banbury. Olease say you are going to do Dorset soon if you haven't already.
Banbury just missed out, as did Witney! Dorset's a stunning county and I plan on doing a video on it at some point, though it could be several months as I haven't got round all of the towns there yet.

I stayed at the crown and cushion in Chipping Norton while walking around the entire county of Oxfordshire and had no idea of its history, wish I'd have known it when I stayed there.
But as someone who likes to think they knows Oxfordshire quite well (as mentioned, I did travel the entire county and have visited all but 2 of its towns, Charlbury and Woodstock) this was very informative. Good video.

I think Dorset is prettier than Oxfordshire and I'm an Oxfordshire man.
As a private hire driver in Oxfordshire, it is my office and agree its an absolute pleasure to explore it almost every day.

The Oxford - Swindon road bisected Faringdon . The bypass took all through traffic away from the town centre, making Farindon a nice place to visit and shop.
Do you have any plans to do Norfolk?
Yeah absolutely! Although Norfolk may be several months from now as there are towns I still need to visit.

I did indeed. Witney was actually my number 11 choice. Quite agonising to have to leave it off this list!
Burford looks a bit of a traffic hellhole 😬 just the words Chipping Norton annoy me, not sure why 😁
Henley looks swanky, but give the seaside any day!
Lovely as usual, but leave out the Berkshire towns of Abingdon, Faringdon and Wallingford, it just doesn't work. Especially with the locals.
Depends who you ask, not so much the younger folk in my opinion. Myself and many others I know are proud Oxonians (born after the boundary change) and we’ve always lived in the Berkshire affected area. I acknowledge historically it is Berkshire, but I think it’s very dependent on who you ask.

Abingdon and Wallingford are in Oxfordshire counties!
@@TinaLouise73 read your history, Berkshire, they were corruptly gerrymandered by the government in 1974, just like Wantage and the Berkshire Downs, and don't get me started on Bournemouth jumping into Dorset,

Almost all of them have a St.Mary's Church, which is a reminder and shows Who is the True Owner of this country, Whom it belongs to, where its heart in the end rests, and what is its unavoided future!!!.....✝️
My opinion is Witney is prettier than Faringdon
Witney was my number 11 choice.
