As someone who owns this laptop, you did not clean it properly. You need to take the fans apart and remove the literal CARPET of dust inside that is blocking the ventilation. Simply brushing the fans does nothing and the laptop will continue to overheat until you clean it properly.

@@ashishbekal9689they both look extremely similar on the outside. I can't speak for the nitro, but that fan design looks the same as my Helios so I assumed it was that one.

I own this laptop model and can confirm cleaning the fans does nothing, the insides of the fan will amass a carpet of dust, which is the main part that needs to be cleaned.

You do realize you're supposed to take off the fans to get the lint out from the intake of the fans otherwise it's going to have thermal issues.

I have the exact same laptop ! To make sure mine stays alive I clean it like every month.
Why so much thermal paste? For such a little die you could just spead it and make sure every part of the die is covered so it doesnt swirt dout of the sides as much

Always hold the fans in place if you're cleaning them without taking them out from the casing. If not you're gonna damage the fan bearings.
Just going to recommend try to hold the fan from spinning it can reduce its life Spain not holding it

NGL the nitro laptops have really thin keyboard print. I have one with a 1650, runs like a dream (the games I can afford, not the newest AAA titles). It’s reliable, but the chassis has a tendency to crack, especially if you take it outside or put it in an unheated car trunk. but mines well overdue for a deep clean like this.

Had this pc for five years. Served well and still works. Gave it to my sister and had to go buy a new one Because it wasn’t powerful enough for my college classes (do a lot of simulations and 3D) so I bought a katana b12V that had 450$ off on it

You set the heatsink on the motherboard and cleaned the thermal paste off while pressing down on that heatsink while it’s on the motherboard, bro that is painful, your going to break something doing that, and you can short something if the battery is plugged in and even if the cmos battery is plugged in 💀
Also I always spread the paste around, and remove excess, that looked like way too much paste you put on there
As someone with a Nitro 5 (1650 version) I'm sure the fans are absolutely filled with dust

Do not use arctic cooling for gaming laptops!!! The temps are too high and it doesnt last. Only Honeywell PTM7950. Temps will drop a lot, man.

Don’t get a gaming laptop, it’s just like a normal lap top so it won’t last as long as a desk top pc
I've had mine since 2016 and it's still going strong.
I've only had to replace the keyboard which was easy to do.
Honestly gaming laptops are fine i have one myself but if you want to upgrade it over time i'd recommend a Desktop as it's easier.

Cleaning the fan is not enough..you have to take the fan off the heatsink and clean the fins. Thats where the main stuff lives.
I have seen perfectly clean fans and then a whole carpet living inside the space between the fan and heatsink causing the cpu to overheat for long enough that it killed a brand new laptop in 6 months. (The owner of the laptop used it on the sofa for 8-10 hours. And it vaccumed the sofa as a result of that). After first 6m i cleaned the laptop and removed a rug from the fan. Then she again used it on the sofa for next 6 months causing the cpu to overheat for long enough that it killed the cpu 3 weeks before warranty was due to end.
Lenevo was kind enough to send a new motherboard for free..

You need to be schooled on how to clean a fan properly, the dust that gets in the vents is what blocks the entire airflow.

You didn't clean the fans properly,you added too much thermal paste.
Also it looks like you didn't disconnect the battery,and you cleaned the heat sink with it sat on the motherboard.
What liquid did you use to clean the keypad??
Any cleaning material is good, I just use baby wipes, or you could use a couple of tissues and wet it with water and that's good too, however don't use a paper towel as they are made using tiny wood chip's that could potentially scratch the keyboard, and whatever I just said only applies for laptop keyboards, just search up a vid on how to deep clean pc keyboards if ur using it on ur pc keyboard

You didn't even clean it. The fan vents have a wall of clogged dust which you didnt touch, you left old thermal paste and didnt even disconnect the fan for cleaning.
