- My NE111 4000W Finish!
A 3 night, four day reservation at Daicey Pond Campground, cabin #6.
My goal for this trip is to climb the 3 hardest Mountains in the East.. North Brother, Hamlin & Katahdin. These peaks are also the last three high peaks that I need to hike to have officially climbed all 111(115) peaks during the winter hiking season December 21st to March 21st. There is 2 in the Catskills & 46 of them in the Adirondacks of New York. In New Hampshire you have 48, Vermont has 5 and 14 High Peaks in Maine!
What makes these last three peaks in Baxter State Park extra difficult is that they can not be climbed in a single day in the winter. You need to get reservations to enter Baxter State Park and camp. Day one is hike in to camp. Day 2-3 is our Hike Days and on the fourth day we hiked out.
We parked at Abol Bridge Parking area. Stats from parking lot to Daicey Pond Campground, the two hike days and back to the car are as follows….
Day 1: 6.5 Miles with 1600 feet of climbing
Day 2: North Brother 18.5 Miles 3829 Elevation Gain from Camp to camp.
Day 3: Hamlin and Katahdin. 24 Miles and 6500 Elevation gain.
Day 4: 6.5 Miles and 350 elevation gain.
Outstanding video and amazing beauty
Hiking that mountain in the winter is off the hook man ! 👊🏻👍🏻

Thanks so much!
You guys are animals, congrats
So awesome to see a new video from you!!! Love it!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thinking about putting more out over the summer. More Vlog style less camera staging and no more intros. All that stuff takes too much time and energy.
Oh wow, I'd heard of doing the 115 but doing it all in the winter is intense. Congratulations and thank you!
You can do it! Just Takes a lot of time and work and skill and planning
Epic way to finish an amazing accomplishment!

Awesome! Thank you! I did record my New Hampshire single-season winter 48, but it was all vertical for Instagram. I had it posted to CZcams for a little while, but then deleted it because I wanted all my content to be wide screen. If you ever wanted to watch it, it is definitely highlighted on my Instagram.
Congratulations 🥾🏔️❄️
I can feel your excitement as you leave Abol. As strong a hiker as you are, I’d love to see you backpack more multi day treks. I can only imagine where you’re crazy enough to venture into😍
Damn.....what an adventure. Great Video and congratulations.
My man!!! I love ALL of your videos, but I love this one the best! Your energy and excitement are evident in each and every one of your videos, but this one captures you fulfilling a true bucket list hike! Big K in the winter???? WHAT?!?!?!?!?! Props. That is something I could only dream of. No doubt it was a tough trip from literally start to finish - thank you for taking us along and sharing your experience with us.
I appreciate that! Man! This was one special journey
Way to go! 🎉🎉. Congratulations and I hope you guys have recovered from the trip.
Yes! Thank you!
What an amazing video to show just how crazy the conditions are on the Baxter peaks in the winter! I very much enjoyed watching this. Huge congratulations on completing your winter 115 - that is an incredible feat, and you truly deserved it, finishing in conditions like these!
Thank you very much!
Congrats, glad to see you back
Congratulations, Brian!!
Congratulations my friend 👊🏻👍🏻 Appreciate you! 🙏🏻
Much appreciated
Congratulations Brian!!!🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Amazing! Congratulations!
Thank you so much 😀
Congrats again!!! I also congratulated you on the short. Anyway, how much was the cabin and how hard was it to get the reservation?
My friend Jason previously got the reservation. You have to send in like a written letter with your winter, hiking experience, etc. They won’t just let anyone in the park. They have to make sure you’re not gonna die trying to climbing katahdin. 😂. Jason has already been there in the winter, so it was easy to get in. I think he said he paid 90 a night for the cabin. The deal was if I pick him up in Connecticut and drive him to Baxter he would pay for the cabin, so I technically don’t know exactly but I’m pretty sure it was 90 bucks a night.
@@BrianHikesAllDay OK thanks. Right now I am not nearly ready for that. I am still trying to get my ankle stronger and more flexible from the break I suffered in last Feb. I have done Katahdin twice but never in the winter.
Where's Brittany??
We broke up 3 years ago
So sorry to hear that; you seemed like a good match. Love your content and glad to see you back in New England.
