Why does Marner catch the most flake? He's on the PP, PK, and their main offensive driver. Matthews had 1 good game, Tavares isnt producing, Nylander has only played 1 game.
To start with - Mitch is really soft on the puck and he is the only winner ($ wise) with all of these Core 4 playoff disappointments. 😀

If you looked you would notice the Leafs PP and PK is the worst in the playoffs. People who defend this group are not being objective and perpetuating the Leafs losing.

If you drive a car - on four thin rim spare tires (max speed is 40 km per hour) then the car just isn’t going to perform well. There is no point in debating which spare is better than the other is it? The car just needs four good new or used tires.
The Leafs Core 4 is designed for playoff disappointments and there is no point in debating which one is better than the other. The Leaf Core 4 has failed come playoffs - and most likely only Matthews is worthy of keeping.

Most do, those who pay too much to he media are absolute idiots. They cling to stupid headlines and ruin world class players. Any hockey fan worth their salt knows Mitch is top three in his position in the league and Marner/Matthews is one of the most iconic scoring duos in the modern game. Marner is way more valuable to the Leafs then Nylander but for some reason they gave him 11.5m even though he never has proven himself for a salary like that.
