THIS GUY. IS HARD. Get one good blast shot on him and he starts smoking at least. I got lucky with this fight and the Mii was being extra stupid (Also Sukapon tossed me outta harm's way!). The attack up buff they get is the painful icing on the hurt-cake.
The goal is to showcase how the developers interpreted the character/item - the spirit - with a fair fight!
What do I mean by "Fair"? Certainly not fair for ME! Essentially, I'm selecting a Primary Spirit without any Type-Advantage and a similar Spirit Power to the opposing spirits! I've also turned off all Adventure Skills if the battle takes place in the Adventure Mode and I'm avoiding the use of Support Spirits and their Skills unless it ends up being necessary in a fight (All the floor is lava!). Primary Spirits with a Skill or some other buff may be used.
Difficulty level in Adventure Mode remains at "Normal". I believe this best represents the full spectrum of enemy AI rather than playing on "Hard" which would push what are supposed to be easier fights towards the difficult side of the spectrum (misrepresenting developer intent!) Besides, the Spirit Board has no difficulty selection! I can only assume that those fought there are of an equivalent AI setting to "Normal" in Adventure Mode.
Focusing on uploading all the fights comes first! Insights, stats, or descriptions may come later!

Now THIS spirit is truly hard. I used my best Attack spirit (Beast Ganon) and Celebi for autohealing, and I barely won. And fun fact, if you don't kill that Sukapon, another one will appear, making it two nuisances to avoid.

Joy Mech Fight. Best Famicom game ever. Once you play it, you want Sukapon as a fighter, trust me
It's actually playable on the Famicom Library of Games for Nintendo Switch Online. I can totally see why you'd want him in Smash!

Select Ridley and go Space Pirate Rush (Side B) at the Mii Gunner and then release him before getting into the blast zone to throw him away into there, and then Gunner gets insta-KO'd.

I have no freakin' clue why his spirit battle is with a guy in a bear suit. It apparently references his creator Dr. Little Emon, but he's just a white bearded scientist similar to Dr. Light. The doctor never fights, he just tells you to go on the mission to save your robot brethren. Seriously Joy Mech Fight is just fighting game Megaman, right down to 8 robots you defeat and they become playable.
I guess since Sukapon is a comedian, Dr. Emon dresses as a honey bear as part of his act? The stadium stage at least checks out, that's the fighting arena in Level 1 where you fight the Mecha-Ostrich.
Also, why didn’t they play a mega man song?

Anytime I hear this song I instantly remember the dozens of fails I suffered….such a jolly song but getting your ass handed to you while it plays is something different.
This, along with Donkey Kong & Lady and Queen Metroid is the Holy Trinity of Most Unfair Spirit Battles That I Wasn’t Able To Get.

Somehow i beat Queen Metroid by spiking the King K. Rool using Kirby’s up B... i have no clue how

This battle is ridiculous 🙄 not only you have an ugly stupid bear mii to deal with, there's also this annoying pink BOZO, when I finally beat it, I was literally 2 seconds away from asking someone to bonk their head on me! I was also dieing from listening to the ear-threatening soundtrack they wrote for the battle, again I was 2 SECONDS AWAY FROM JAMMING DEATHS SYCTHE INTO MY EARDRUMS!
IF DEFEATING SUKAPON THE ASSIST TROPHY WASN'T SO DIFFICULT,😡 THERE'S STILL MII GUNNER WITH 180 HP TO DEAL WITH, EVENTUALLY ANOTHER OBNOXIOUS POOPAPON APPEARS, IF THIS SUKAPON IS THE AVERAGE BALL MOVEMENT, THEN THIS BATTLE IS A DIRTY DIAPER FROM A STINKING BABY BEAR WITH NO WIPES TO WIPE THE INSIDE, AND NO TRASH CAN TO TOSS THE DIAPER!

I use Mario's dash attack & cape to cheese most of the legend class spirits, pay attention to the AI's inputs.

Yeah but in my eyes, IT doesn't help, because it feels like every single movement I make causes either crap-a-pon or mii gunner to land a hit on, I can't even roll into a ball, or dodge without ending up with the EXACT SAME RESULTS!
Just send that Mii to the blast zone and use the same move set as this Mii
I made the great useful mistake of choosing Lucina and spicy curry with Pyra as the assist killer. (I don't know if I used Soma or Diancie as the main spirit)
After like 6 previous tries I made it.
While all these casuals want Waluigi or Shadow to break free from the Assist Trophy dungeon, to me, Sukapon deserves it more than any of them. Star of Nintendo's first fighting game, tons of kick ass music tracks, and REALLY good animation for NES which would be great to see in Ultimate. This goofy limbless robot comedian OOZES with personality, and his fighting style would be so unorthodox and zany he'd be like no other character. He'd have the SLOWEST walk speed in the game, but somehow really fast run speed squirming around like a lunatic. His jumping speed would be so fast but he'd float down about as slow as Jigglypuff. Not to mention he probably weighs a ton, but his moves lack any punch except for really weird parts of the hitbox you'd never see coming. Watch out for his mighty Sukapon Toss, it'd probably kill more than Ness's infamous PSI throw.
I just REALLY love Joy Mech Fight and wish there was an OFFICIAL translation.
Yeah, I know the fact that he was Japan only might mitigate his chances, but it would still be cool to play as him. I mean, Lucas got in and yet he was a japan only character

I beat this with Giga Mac Little Mac after many tries of cheesing the battle with DK. What I got was a spirit that improves throw power.

These spirit battles and spirits are the cheesiest part of Ultimate
I don't know if I'm too late, but Pit with Celebi to help does magic, if you know how to cover you avoid the thing made of balls with the Special down and on top you reflect the enemy Projectiles...I used an Item to lower more % health before the fight, but at the end I had 109% still left
I just used donkey Kong with strong throw assist , and threw the mii in the corner of the stage and beat him easily
Just use Ridley side b and cheese it
