- So this is the peninsula resort
Located In Akosombo in the eastern region
It’s Roughly a 2 hours drive from Accra
And when u get to Akosombo it’s gonna take u about 40 minutes to drive to peninsula mainly because the road wasn’t the best when we visited but hopefully it’s better now
Or u can hop on a boat when u get to the maritime club and cross the lake to the resort I’ll advice u do that if u can
once u arrive at peninsula u are going to be welcomed with the most breath taking views and scenery u have ever seen
Definitely going down in my books as one of the most beautiful places I have seen in Ghana so far
When we arrived we were greeted by a welcoming receptionist
And frank gave us a tour of the facility
When u visit Peninsula, ask for frank
He is the coolest tour guide ever
He makes the whole experience plus 100

Akosombo was Kwame Nkrumah's product, from the main road to the engineer's quarters and many more. There hasn't been much done until recently.
I feel like no video does justice to this amazing place. You just need to visit to experience it.
