  • A last minute trip out with my ONDU 4x5 rise pinhole camera loaded with Fomapan 100 film to some local wind turbines. Getting use to Ondu rise camera still, but feel after this trip I have more of an idea with the field of view and really enjoying using it.

The vertical point of view is really nice, and so is the last shot with the nice puddle on the foreground

wow what a patient little dog...... just finished making a 6x9 cm pinhole camera ( converted an old Agfa Clack) so looking at your videos for inspiration, as like me you live in the S.E. where classic mountain vistas are in short supply...lol great series that you have... would have liked a 4x5 but couldn't justify the cost of setting up the developing and scanning as already have a medium format scanner, so 120 was the natural way to go

      Thank you Malcolm.
Would be nice to be around some mountains sometimes 🙂
I only have a 120 film scanner, I use to scan two halves of a 4x5 and merge them together, but now I use a Pixl-Latr and my digital camera to scan them.
      Works well.

love the dark dramatic skies that the rise gives you. Your puppy dog would rather stay at home lol?

Another great video Will. The l-bracket looks like it will be a good addition. So did you kneel in mud or option (b)?

Nice one Wil. Funny you shot that, I've had a similar idea for a turbine near me. Something well suited to the pinhole.
I finally finished my home made pin hole and honestly I'm struggling getting the right exposure for the crappy Fomapan 400. Found it hard getting a reliable reciprocity failure chart for it.
Any pointers for a reliable chart?
    UPDATE
Just watched you other video about exposure and the apps you use. 😁
    Cheers.

Thank you, glad you found the other video, exposure as assistant works well
