Corey Perry dropped the gloves even though the injury towards John Tavares was accidental and unfortunate. After the game, Perry was asked about fighting and he responded with something along the lines of that he "had to" fight. It's a similar situation where a teams star player gets injured from a hit that accidently caused a bad injury. I'm not saying Hall should have fought Landeskog. But seeing how Perry was aware that even though he didn't mean to, he still took out a star player, so he felt obligated to answer the bell when the opposing team wanted to address it. Perry addressed it with respect and acknowledged that he was still in the wrong, despite intent. Hall stuck with feeling like he shouldn't be accountable for the injury. Landeskog and Erik Johnson saw the hit in real time and mostly saw the aftermath (a bloody MacKinnon). I'm sure during intermission they finally had access to the slow motion replay that we as fans get to see. They ended up scoring on both powerplays. What happened to Mackinnon was unfortunate, but harassing Hall was not going to get him back on the ice or help the team win. Linus Ullmark is a very tough goalie when he is on the road. He is ranked 3rd in the league for SV% on the road with a .930. He is only behind Markstrom and Shesterkin. I don’t know what Bednar said to the team during the 2nd intermission, but it worked because they looked completely different on the third period. The Avs didn’t give up as they kept being aggressive and eventually overtaking the Bruins on shots at 41-32. Cale Makar ends his goal scoring drought at 7 games with the OT game winner. The streak extends to 17, but it is getting more difficult for the Avs to win at home.
Bednar also benched Johnson for the rest of the game
I think we would've watched a different game had Mackinnon not be hit. That really threw all the players out of whack. I wouldn't necessarily say it's getting harder to win at home I just think tonight was off because it started off. Also they are pretty tired from all the playing they've been doing. I as well as you have faith they can keep pushing.
There getting a little worn I think because of all the tight games also trying to make up for some of the quarantine time AND INJURIES I mean constantly missing defenders and idk what happened to helm. Hopefully they refresh and get some more juice for the play offs and finish the season strong, scared Kadri is playing his way out of Colorado but mybe he won't want to start over again who knows also conners been quiet for the past several after a hot run gotta get everyone in sync and consistant!!!
It's not getting more difficult to win at home, they're just finding ways to win the games that in past years they would have lost. Something feels different about this year's Avs.
@@natthaphonnoble2407 Staff noticed that Helm was absolutely useless. To the Eagles he goes
Nice try Boston. Thanks for playing. 🤣
Its always a great day when the Bruins lose.
Как же я рад за Колорадо!!! Бойцы!
landys tying goal if that was "mcjesus " hed still be on the ice pouting lmao woooooooo
Heartbreaker for the bruins. gg tho.
The Bruins are going nowhere this year. They lack toughness and grit. And this from a lifetime Bruins fan.
Go Boston!
Wow
boys have proved the can win in any situatian just givem somthing to drink woooooo
Nothing more fun than see the Bruins lose that way
For the Hall hit on MacK (as an Avs fan) I don't think it is necessarily clean. If the stick isn't there I think Hall blasts MacK in the chin with his shoulder. Which is a hit you don't want in the game. But DOPS cannot punish a guy for what would have happened (only what DID happen) so I don't think he should be suspended or anything like that. Just my 2 cents.
Bogus
Watch it and stop lying to yourself.
It was a clean hit as explained multiple times by your own teams announcers.
If dude had his stick on the ice he likely wouldn't have even been knocked down
Started seeing Russian comments on hockey vids, is the curtain finally been lifted?
Boston needs to be called on the third guy in on a fight and tossed. happens too often. Good win Avs
Великий Бред Маршанд, как всегда в ударе. А Великий Назим Кадри всегда ставил на колени овечкина и драл овцу во все щели. Великие Канадские игроки сделали игру.
Colorado is pretty good by hockey
Avs are a waste because we know they'll just go a couple rounds and fizzle out.
Keep that same energy
Why didnt they show the MacKinnon hit
Put Rask in...lol
Тяжёлая игра была для Колорадо. Но командный дух, бойцовские качества и болельщики помогли вытащить этот матч. Колорадо, молодцы!!! Так держать!!!
В следующем матче серия слетит.. увы и ахх
