o f course not its all mcmuffin this and mcmuffin that all about mcdavid the so called best player in the world lmao best player that cant back check and play defense lmao
Tonight is a good night for the Colorado Avalanche. Before commenting on the game, I want to congratulate Altitude's color commentator Peter McNabb for having his cancer in remission. He has been undergoing treatment since he announced his diagnosis back in September. Now onto the game. Bednar did something incredibly risky tonight and it paid off greatly. He adjusted the first line to Burakovsky, Mackinnon and Rantanen. He bumped Landeskog to the second line with Kadri and Nichushkin. We saw two versions of the Avs tonight. One was the team who cheated on defense, missed assignments and demonstrated shaky goaltending. The other was a juggernaut who refuses to step off the pedal offensively and go in full lockdown mode defensively. I don't know what Bednar said during the first intermission, but he has done it again. He did do something quite noticeable. He benched O'Connor and MacDermid who had less than 9 minutes of ice time before the team blew it wide open. This is the second time the Avs have come back from a 3-0 deficit. Gabriel Landeskog is a Jet killer. Both of his hat tricks this season came from Winnipeg. He has 6 goals and 1 assist against the Jets in their first 2 meetings. The turning point of the game came from Makar. His hockey IQ came into play when he noticed a poor line change and took advantage of it by quickly sending the puck to Toews. Toews drops it off to Burakovsky who finally ended his goal scoring drought at 17 games. The Jets were lucky that Mackinnon didn't get a hat trick by hitting the post on a PP. Francouz may not have been busy in the last 2 periods, but he still locked it down by stopping the remaining 17 shots. The Colorado Avalanche is ranked 2nd with 16 comeback wins this season. Only the Rangers, Panthers and Blue Jackets are ahead of them with a 3 way tie for 1st with 17.
Not gonna lie, I got choked up listening to McNabb talk about his battle and get choked up himself. Such an awesome moment inside the game then for Burky to get the go ahead goal right after was awesome.
Landy has really shouldered this team this year. He is showing how a captain should act. He inspires them every game with his play, and he is being rewarded with the best year of his career. Cup or bust this year! We just need the goalies to come through, even our D is spectacular. Playing great positional defence and always having a clear idea of where to go with the puck.
Well, the jets did good in the first period. Can’t say that about the rest of the game. Wowweeee 6 unanswered goals and a hat trick from YOUR Colorado avalanche captain: GABRIEL LANDESKOG
@@goon8058 he's a workhorse, never takes a shift off and he has developed into a great player. Hopefully it's not just a contract year sort of thing (if the Avs resign him) but it seems players always break out in those years then regress lol
Finally! Been waiting for this MacKinnon all year long. Up until now he's largely looked a little slow and just not the same player, so glad he's back to playing like we know he can
Матч супппер радует Валера в россыпи звезд в каждом матче сверкает -мощно отмудохали Джетс хотя те на подьеме сильно лавины вперед к кубку вы заслужили.
Yeah. By spreading out those three into different lines, they basically have reinforced all there lines with their 3 best players. Kadri is having a great year, but he can't do it all on that second line so moving Landeskog down to the second line was a good move.
I was in a restaurant and we saw 0-3 and everyone was like “omg the avalanche is doing bad” I was like “the avalanche is the number one team had anyone of you watching any of their games, they will comeback” and I just glad they did because I was the only one believer in the restaurant!!!!! Go avalanche!!!!
It’s all Scheifele and Wheelers fault. Poor leadership and jealously and bullying guys like Laine because they didn’t like how the great fans of Winnipeg loved Laine. So they bullied Laine. And it was also Maurice’s fault for letting these two cancers run the team. Something is rotten in Winnipeg and their names are Scheifele and Wheeler
Kyouya covered everything wonderfully of course as always. But did want to pop in and say that this is yet another game exposing how much of a liability Girard is. 2 of the 3 jets goals were rooted from Girard not producing.
Girard is definitely more of a forward playing defenseman, once Byram gets healthy I think Girard will be like macdermid and be a slide around guy going from defense to forwards and so forth
@@TRC_WhateverThisIs did you not hear that byram is having bad post concussion problems i dont know if it would be a good idea for him to continue playing
I'll add what I saw in the game under your post. Girard wasn't the only one responsible in that period. Murray, Helm and Jost were all doing a poor job. Toews overstepped during the powerplay which led to a goal by Lowry. A lot of people were responsible for that period including poor goaltending by Francouz. Jost has a habit of being too aggressive. He had no reason to chase Dubois when Toews was already covering him. Helm failed to cover Morrissey when Jost was being aggressive and he just let the shot go by that led to a goal by Svechnikov. Murray should have never let Dubois get two shot off on Francouz. It was a 4 on 2 in Avs favor. As for Girard, he looked like his head was in the clouds when he let the puck go by on the second rebound for Connor to score
So not when the Leafs beat them 8-3 earlier this season? Every team has good and bad games plus it's all rigged. There's alot of money being thrown around to make sure a certain team wind it's each year. This was never the case in the good old days when players played to win, not be bought.
first to 80 points baby , 30 games left win em all thats 140 point season , they way its going with the stats we should only lose 5 more games 130 is pretty fine too woooooo
Winnipeg very poor tonight besides scoring the first 3, you don't often see teams just give colorado whatever they want. time and space... check, not challenging them at all on the half wall breakouts... check, red sea parting defensive gap control... check, horrendous puck management... check, leaky goaltending...check, zero neutral zone pressure...check. colorado beat a bad Winnipeg team tonight. Kudos for coming back though as a three goal deficit in the nhl is a hard climb for any team to come back from. Valeri Nichushkin is going to get a nice contract from colorado over the summer, he is a beast.
@@sub2technoblade849 Winnipeg just a very poor hockey team straight up. If you spotted Arizona, Buffalo, or Montreal a 3 goal lead im more confident that they would come out with a win than this Winnipeg team. They will pay Valeri and nothing will change that I promise you, infact Joe basically already said as much in his presser. He's way to valuable for this team to lose and foes way beyond points or goals.
Nichushkin will have 32 teams to choose from, I just hope he enjoys the City and appreciates the team that helped rejuvenate his career. Dallas literally paid him to go away, (they bought out the last year of his contract). Look how far he has come, it's incredible
It’s actually comical that people believed the jets were contenders in the fall. And people like me who said they wouldn’t even make the playoffs “knew nothing about hockey”. Lol jets.
