  • The Logitech G203 Lightsync and Razer Deathadder Essential are two budget gaming mice that cost $40 and $30 respectively. Despite this similar cheap price, they have some massive differences. In this video review I give a conclusion on whether you should buy the bigger, heavier, ergo design Deathadder Essential or the smaller, lighter, semi-ambidextrous Logitech G203 Lightsync.

    Great review been looking at both in that price range. Bought the Razer Deathadder Essential after trying instore. Finger joints are more relaxed after years of trying to get used to a much smaller Corsair Harpoon mouse. Deathadder is also a joy to use for hrs in general scrolling, web browsing for my hand size.

    Terrible luck with the G203s. First one - left mouse button started glitching after 4-5 months. New replacement was worse... messed up straight out of the box. I have given up... Looking for a replacement. I use it for vector drawing (this is mild use!) That Razer is in my price range. Small... but... I don't think I will mind. I normally draw with my thumb and pinky on the mouse mat.

    I use a lot of mouse and g102,g203 and viper mini are the best mouse for clawgrip for medium/large hands.
    Better then G pro wirless,and g303 (new one).
    If u have like a really agressive clawgrip buy viper mini
    If u have claw-finger tip take g102/g203

    so I want to share my experience with my G102(203). I bought this mouse 1 month ago, and it only costs me 17$(i live in SE Asia). So this is the only mouse that suits my budget(under 20$). I was also interested in the Redragon M711 Cobra, but the sensor is worse than the G102, so I just bought the G102 instead.
    Personally, I don't like the shape of the G102, but I don't hate it either. I have 18.5 cm long hands, and I use a claw grip for this mouse, which is reasonably comfortable, but unfortunately, I can't use this mouse for longer than 2 hours, so I need to take a short break after that.
    The clicks feel so nice, but the right-click is a little bit lighter than the left. In Geometry Dash, especially in difficult levels, this mouse really satisfies me, the clicks feels light and accurate. Now, I will talk about the double-click issue. This issue usually happens if I raise my finger before clicking. Also, if I click in the corner of the mouse, the double click issue will most likely to happen. Fortunately, this issue only occurs when I raise my finger before clicking, clicking in the corner of the mouse, and with a medium force.
    I love this mouse, although I'm planning to buy a Redragon M711 FPS(upgraded version of the cobra I mentioned earlier), viper mini, or the Rexus daxa air(an alternative to Model D since it's not available in my country), 1-2 years from now.
    Ok, I hope you enjoy my 5 paragraph long comment about the Logitech G102/203. Sorry for making the comment to long, I'm bad at making things short and simple :P
    Edit: i bought the viper mini, other than the L&R clicks, the viper mini is superior in every way

    • @Tekify
      @Tekify  Před 3 lety +1

      It is really hard to know until you have tried so possibly pick two different mice and send one back if you can. If that isn't possible then I would say take a chance and get something like the Roccat Burst Core (or Pro if it is within your budget). It should fit a few different hand styles and grips and you can try and see which you like. If you play multiplayer games where aim is important then a big heavy mouse like the DeathAdder isn't liked by a lot of people (especially good players), most prefer a lighter mouse. If you play games very casually then something big like the DeathAdder could be comfy. Hopefully I was some help, let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to help

    Dude it has a greater weight than logitech's mouse. Obviously you need to put some pressure. And the braided cable is without doubt better.
    No wonder your channel's not growing.

    • @Foxtrot-jr5qu
      @Foxtrot-jr5qu Před 2 lety +2

      That might be the case, but Razer mouses in general are overhyped and overpriced ever since they were came to existence. Even Razer claims that the Essential is more like a casual gamer mouse and even the spects are not that impressive. The only reason the Essential is relevant, is because it was made by Razer. Slap another random brand name on that mouse and no one will give a damn about it. Other than that, there are plenty of mouses in the 40$-50$ price range that are much better options. I've had an older version of the Deathadder in the past and while the mouse was great, it wasn't as good as I expected from the great and mighty Razer. After a little more than 2 years later my Deathadder became unusable and I have no plans of ever buying another Razer mouse ever again. Even my cheap 8$ Logitech B100 lasted a lot longer than my Razer. I also disagree about the braided cable. I've had a lot of issues with mine, because it was always attached to something and after a while it was torn a part and I had to cut it in half.

      @zulfidabzskits8992 Před 3 lety

      Aaaaand there it is, i was expecting this cuz of your very defensive behaviour on other comments, dude just admit it the deathadder essential is far better than what you depict it to be, of every video youve made on the deathadder there have been comments crowding the comment section about how you go wayyy too harsh with the deathadder. You said the skates are bad but mine are just fine and you said that the clicks arent nice buti like them and i got mine for 30$ and i think its a pretty good deal but then again it is my opinion and obviously i wont force it upon anyone.

    • @Tekify
      @Tekify  Před 3 lety

      It's just biased is a strong word and suggests I have a motive to be biased. I don't care wether the mouse is good or bad do I? The review of it is slightly harsh as it is based of it being £30 in the UK which is around $43, which I'm sure you can agree it isn't as good for that. However, I standby that the clicks, cable, skates and sensor are not as good as other mice for the same price. Razer themselves know it's outdated, hence it's an old mouse they no longer produce. The Deathadder V2 Mini for example has everything improved upon for the same price. People are going to be upset because I have told them the mouse they own is bad. I understand that, but it is not as good for the price as other mice for the same price. I standby my conclusion that it is not a good option nowadays.

    • @zulfidabzskits8992
      @zulfidabzskits8992 Před 3 lety

      @@Tekify dude you say you were slightly harsh in your review but at the same time you re saying the clicks, cable, skates and sensor are all bad, and thats basically the entire mouse excluding the grip so idk if you realized or not but your reply is pretty hypocritical, you can have your own opinion of course but dont say its objectively bad if you dont like it

    • @Tekify
      @Tekify  Před 3 lety

      The review being slightly harsh doesn't mean it's suddenly good. It's still bad, I thought that was pretty clear. Ultimately I have over 20 mice. I'd say around 5 are around the same price as the Deathadder essential and all 5 have better feet, skates, sensor and clicks than the Deathadder essential. I have even bought a second Deathadder essential to check that I didn't just have a bad copy. In some ways it is objectively worse, the sensor for example is just worse as it's old. The sensor in the G203 is far superior. The cable is undeniably worse if you put it side by side.
