This is the review i have been waiting for. The G102 is very popular mouse in indonesia and is selling very well right now because its cost the same as other cheaper mouse here (i.e a4tech and bloody mouses) while the sensor is just killing every other mice (It uses Mercury Sensor Mnufactured by logitech). I was a bit skeptical about this mouse since the price is even lower than half of the GPro price. But i ended up buying this since im broke and ive been using it for months now and i was really happy with it, never tested Gpro on my own though.
Same here, have been waiting for this and it just so happens I'm in Indonesia. Really looking forward to trying out this shape, I have a really good feeling about this even though Zy doesn't like it. It appears to be based on the MX300 which happened to be the first mouse I used for competitive gaming (even though it wasn't a "gaming" mouse), so my grip preferences probably developed on this kind of shape.
A Small hand with a claw grip style is very suitable with this mouse, Zy's hand is waay bigger (compared to most asians here) thats why he wont prefer this mouse for his. Hope you finally found the right mice for yours
I don't think it's the size that's a problem for him, it's the slightly rounded sides (he said he would have liked it better if they were flat like on the G302/303). That can be fixed quite easily though, with grip tape.
Since the G Pro isn't obtainable (yet) here in Indonesia, I was considering a G303 transplant to a G90 shell, until this video came up lmao. However, I am still skeptical about that LOD, looks too good to be true? does it actually works the same as G403's 3366 1mm LOD? that's really preposterous.
I have smaller hands and couldn't stand those bumps on the side of the G303, to a point were I was tempted to round them with sandpaper... thankfully the Pro was released before that. And I just love the Pro. Haven't aimed that well since my last G9x broke down a few years ago. Maybe I should buy a stack of G102's for the future... :D
Marcos Diensen Technically, there is none. G102: for the asian market and available in white and black G203: for the western market and available in black only afaik The white version is a bit heavier according to the video.
Been using this mouse for the past 3-4 months and it's been running like a dream. Fits like a glove, great for any DPI preference and ofcourse great for FPS games like Overwatch. Got it 1500 INR (23.2 USD) and frankly i like it more than the deathadder and g502 both of which i sent back. Just wish there were more color options like breathing between separate colors but for the price this mouse really can't be beat.
Honestly I got that g102 for around 80 months and it has been my best mouse yet while being the cheapest at 19 euros. I have tried all sort of companies and models that is under 70 euros, razer / steelseries / cm / logitech / gigabyte even vpro. Can't go wrong buying this mouse, even in term of longevity, if it breaks you can replace it since its cheap like 2 or even 3 times compared to to more expensive mice that got same specs.
Like every reviewer said, you have to test it with your hand because everyone have their own grip. I used to be a palm grip person, but after I bought this mouse I have to change to claw grip as the mouse is too small for me (Deathadder and G403 fits my hand perfectly). Unless Steelseries or Razer dare to sell Rival 300 or Deathadder at 20-30$ with better sensor, this is the best value gaming mouse you could buy right now.
I have the g203 for a few months now and it works like a fucking charm. best mouse ive ever had while this isnt the most expensive one. (i play a lot of overwatch, fortnite and sometimes CSGO)
I've got the G203, great mouse. Only issue I've ever had is dust build up on the sensor which causes weird spin outs. Literally just blow on the bottom of the mouse and perfect.
I bought the G203 about two days ago for 16 euros and it fit perfectly to my claw grip, I preoviously owned a Razer Naga 2014 that I bought just for the looks of it and lasted me 5 long years. I must say that in these two days of using the G203, the sensor is way more better than Naga's, my flicks on the G203 felt more natural, and I don't know if it's the sensor or the fit of it, maybe it's just both. It's really a beast of a mouse. My only complaint is the software, when you activate the automatic game detector, when you open CS:GO for example, the lights on the mouse keeps flashing and changing colors, but I fixed it downloading the Logitech G hub software. So if you guys like a cheap small that does it's job really well, buy the G203.
@@lpllplp3303 Thanks, man. I got the Razer Viper Mini a few months ago and it uses optical switches, so it's impossible for it to double click. It's been a game-changer and it's super cheap for the quality.
i have told my brothers, my friends and everyone i know about your channel. you deserve so much more attention for the amazing, informative videos. love you man.
I got my G102 today. First impression is flawless. I was right that I must have adapted my grip style to this kind of shape with the MX300. I can't find anything wrong with the curved sides, I hardly notice that they are curved but I still appreciate the additional leverage, making the mouse feel incredibly stable and easy to control in my hand. For my finger grip I can't imagine any better shape right now, and I find it difficult to believe that anybody would have an issue with the mouse using finger grip. For claw or palm grip opinions might differ more based on preference. And when I say finger grip I mean that I control the mouse mainly using my thumb and ring finger squeezing near the center of mass. My fingers are still fairly straight like in a palm grip and my palm does make some contact with the body, it's just not really involved in actually controlling the mouse. One downside as usual is that I can't comfortably use the forward thumb button, but with that type of grip thumb buttons are always a bit iffy so I'm happy to have just one usable thumb button. Curiously one of the few mice I know where I can comfortably use both thumb buttons while using finger grip is the G502 of all things. It's probably easier to make this work with a larger shape, as I imagine that the thumb buttons would become unusable for palm and claw grippers on the G Pro shape if they moved them even further back.
at first i was sceptical because of the low price of the G102, but after using it for 3 months, i can safely say this mouse is just great compared to previous logitech mouse ive owned (G402, G302) the cable and the middle click is far superior than any i have ever tried, the main and side button click tension is just right, not too soft like G302, the weight's noticeably lighter and have better (lower) LoD even compared to G302 personally i just wish they release another version: 1. shaped smaller or flatter like G302/G303 but without the weird diamond shape 2. shaped ergonomic like G403 or Zowie EC2-A but smaller
I bought the g102 after watching this video. It's a good mouse as Zy said in the review. I have one issue with it, being the left and right buttons. They are quite stiff, compared to my Logitech g402, and thus would require harder force to press it. For FPS players this should not be a problem. However if you're a MOBA player like me, where you have to spam click your left button a lot, then your finger will get tired after 3 - 5 games or about 3 hours plus of gaming. I thought I would put my experience with the mouse out here for reference.
yay, thanks for doing this. i requested this some time ago, so glad you got around to it. i got this mouse and was wondering if there was any significant difference between the g pro and this (since i dont have g pro). This video definitely answers. Thank you!!
I own both and have used them extensively. - LMB/RMB/Mouse3 tension are much nicer on my G203. The G Pro's RMB is annoyingly light, and the wheel press is stiffer than I'd like. - The Mercury might be a fraction less snappy in reactiveness than the 3366, but it's basically imperceptible. - I've witnessed the Mercury spin out twice (instant ground aim) within 5 minutes of an Overwatch round once, but I suspect a hair might have gotten into the lens temporarily. I've never seen the 3366/3360 malfunction under any circumstances. The G203 is an obscenely good value. The G Pro sides not being ideal is a shame, but if you can get used to it it's a spectacularly controllable & accurate mouse.
sensor "mercury" in g102 is great. i have g403 and g102, and i think g102 is great choice, if you don't need some features like sensor calibration. for it's price is just a killer.
thank you so much for this!! I purchased the G102 about two weeks ago and I'm not pro gamer by any means, just play casual FPS games but I really did notice a difference coming from the G302. I prefer the G302's buttons though. but my aims seems to be better on this one. and I also bought a cheap generic mouse from Elephant called the Rigid Mice (idk if that's available in the US but I'm from the Ph) and the difference is HUGE. so if anyone who is a casual gamer like myself wants a good mouse upgrade but doesn't want to cash out more than $50 then I would recommend this too. thanks for the review Zy
if you prefer the diamond shape then it would take some getting used to, but in my case that only took me one day. I like the more natural shape of the g102 over the diamond shape. but like I said I prefer the buttons on the 302 but the buttons on the 102 are not bad by any means. they just feel a bit lighter. I think you should get the 102 right now. or the 403 if you're willing to Shell out more money
Just a little update, the latest firmware for the G102/203 has upgraded the sensor to allow DPI levels of up to 8000. I already updated mine, but I have yet to test it in game for any other differences as I am using the G403 as my main mouse. But good to know.
I just bought the G203 because it was on sale for $29.99 (CAD) and this is the first review i've seen, good to know it's a good mouse. The RGB is a plus as well.
Just bought 1 after 2 hours of watching this. It's been around local retailers for a while now but I kept holding back because I haven't seen a solid review/comparison from others. First mouse I've used is the FK2. I loved the small shape and it's the best for my aim in CSGO. But it made my hand cramp. So I went for the EC2-A and the grip experience is a dream, but I had a very long time adjusting my aim in-game since I have small hands. In fact, I'm still adjusting my grip every day for the best aiming results. I tried this mouse on deathmatch for 10 minutes and haven't noticed a difference with the 3310 on the Zowie. It's much easier to grip the mouse due to its small size. Not to mention doing easy flicks. Will definitely use this as my main mouse for a while. I'll still keep my EC2-A though. Thank you Zy for this. More power to you and your channel!
I found myself at Best Buy looking for a new laptop mouse for home because I can always use a trackpad when I'm out. My gaming rig has been out for a few weeks getting fixed, so I've been limited to Linux games. Your video saved me 60$, this is why I love your channel.
Do not worry the Sensor of the GPro is the best sensor ever created. Its just that the logitech trying to create their own sensor so it can be cheaper and be sold to asian market.
It's a good mouse, but I do need to disclose that after less than 2 years of usage, the thumb button often registers twice with a single click, and the scroll wheel needs to be pressed down really hard in order for it to register a click. So it's long-term durability may not be so good.
Damn u deserve more subs lol. Can"t believe this channel have less subscriber than other review channels. Hope u reach a million. Maybe do a face reveal in a million subs xD.
Hey Zy! I have been using the G102 for around 2 months now after switching from my G303. The mouse is fantastic, and is def my fav finger tip mouse I have ever used.
I have both the G203 and the G Pro. While they are both amazing mice the plastic on the G203 is much cheaper. After about 3 months, I have worn the texture completely smooth where I hold the mouse. Since I use fingertip grip, the mouse became hard to hold on to. I've been using the G Pro for 7 months now and the mouse is like new. Even at double price I think the G Pro is worth it.
ty for your in depth review and also sugestions regarding the size of a mouse, never knew about that and made me switch from a rival 310 to this...much more confortable for my hands.
I find it really hard to believe of the Lift off distance performance of this mouse, which was totally true, at an approximate 1.5mm not quite sure if less or more but definitely a LOT less than an Abyssus or a Rival 100, I tested my friend's copy of a black G102 in CSGO DMs, ends up really good, shell's very similar to Rival 100 and Razer Abyssus's size. The things I hated about the G102 was the mediocre scroll wheel (or on my friend's copy at least), the uneven tension of the left and right button which are lighter on the tip and heavier on the back, and the texture; somehow I prefer glossy or soft-touch for better grip Pretty sure this shape would suit any person that aren't bound to true palm grips, it's really nice.
I have been researching mice for a while until I saw your channel and this video. The mouse was an instant buy. Your passion for Quake got me interested to try Champions too. I am really enjoying the game and my mouse!
FINALLY! A comparison that I've been too long waiting for :D Anyways... better cable, better Mouse 3 Click, better PRICE, what else would one need... Nice shape, nice buttons (M1/M2 subjectively a bit on the light weight side tho... ) very good build quality... The new "Mercury" sensor seems to be doing a perfectly fine job at tracking... (much better value $$$) G102/G203 - Dang good. Dang, DANG GOOD! The perfect mouse for pretty much any sane gamer.
Sensor wise, the Mercury it's better by itself and it has CPI steps in increments of 50. The G402 has a decent sensor (AM010) with a very good feel at very low speeds and complemented by the accelerometer it's doing a dang fine job at tracking at insane speeds (fastest mouse yet, really! Even faster than the PMW3366 equipped mice) The CPI steps for the G402 tho, are kinda weird... in increments of 80 CPI (400 > 480 > 560 > 640 > etc... ) The Scroll wheel is mechanical on the G102/G203 with a very good tactile feel and optical on the G402 (I had to rma 2 of them due to the scroll wheel feeling like it had years of wear and tear... ) The Scroll Wheel Click it's perfect on the G102/G203 with a "philips"/"panasonic"(?) 2 pin micro switch (feels much like a standard main mouse 3 pin latching micro switch) while the one on the G402 is stiff and it has a standard 4 pin dome based micro switch (which will break or missclick sooner rather than later) The shape it's subjective, with the G402 filling your hand more than the G102/G203. The standard "X Buttons" (Back/Forward) are good on both mice. The G402 has the extra "DPI Shift" button on the side which feels rather good, but can be accidentally missclicked once in a while. It also has 2 adjacent buttons to the Left Click, (default CPI+/CPI-) but those feel kinda awkward to reach and click. That and the Left Click itself feeling weird to press due to it's convex shape. Both mice have only one on-board memory profile. The G402 it's a bit heavy (~110g) but doesn't feel like it (not like the G502 does at @127g... That feels like a brick after a few minutes of use... ) The G102/G203 at ~84g feels just about perfect. Comfort wise, it really depends on your hands and grip style. Although I'm not very content of the G402, I must say the thumb ledge it's quite comfortable, the right height and the "X buttons" (Back/Forward) are quite nice to reach and never prone to accidental missclicks. Same goes for the G102/203 "X buttons", nice, small, clicky, easy to reach and not prone to missclicks (not as comfy as the bigger G402, but very good nonetheless)
I just got this like a hour or 2 ago and decided on this mouse over a different one after seeing this Review. (Wanted the G Pro // G Pro Wireless but didn't have enuff) and holy crap. i actually really like this mouse. IDK what sensor is in this but for me, i think it is actually really nice. i still like my sensors in the EC2-B but this is ALMOST just as good IMO. P.S Thank you for doing what you do on here RJN. Idk what i would do about deciding on what mice to get without your vids. You have the best reviews & for pretty much everything that has come out ever lol. Also, i am really indecisive so you really help me a lot =) Thanks again. keep up the great content. Also after seeing the vid where you show most of your mouse collection all at once, it has inspired me to continue collecting mice myself (don't ask why i do this cause even i don't know. i guess i just like having options =) lol) but now i'm one mouse closer to catching up to you XD hahaha
all these 70 euro zowie mice i bought, and now im using this 20 euro g102 because i like it over all 6 zowie mice i have, wtf All of the sudden they make a perfect mouse for 20 euro, and most people dont even know about this mouse and still buying 70 euro zowie mice like i did xD
I just got my white G203, the SN starts with 1833, so it's made in July 2018. I can confirm both clicks have more tension than my old G Pro, but they are still light touch. I still got accidental clicks, but less than before.
So it's pretty much as I've expected. There is currently literally no reason not to buy the G102/203. It is simply the absolute and unquestionable king of price/performance ratio. Good job as always, Zy. Keep up the good work!
My g203 came with very rough and defined scroll steps but luckily they became more smooth over time though they still feel very cheap. My g403 scrollwheel feels really nice.
Doughnut Digger Can you tell me about the material of the mouse. Is it rubberized to hold ? My hands are always dry and i have a lot of difficulty to hold a mouse as it slips a lot. Will it hold well ?
@@RyanxDunn since no one has answered i can tell after 2 years of use my g203 has a wonky mouse button 1 but that is after heavy use and sometimes the sensor freaks out but very rarely otherwise no issues very solid mouse
@@Ps1ClassicGameplay Ah, thanks. I checked out the Razer Viper Mini and I'm definitely going with that option after watching reviews. Thanks for answering :)
@@rover5058 Surprisingly one of the only products out there that's basically better than the one before it (Viper) and costs half the price. It's weird but I'm not arguing. It also fits my finger grip preference = bonus.
2000 people probably already said this but you can record mouse clicks with the macro editor, you just have to insert them manually by right clicking, dont press the record button for adding mouse imputs
Update: I bought the g203 today and there is a firmware update for the mouse that expands the dpi to 8000 max. Edit(25/03/2018): My g203's sensor just died, it only lasted 6 months.
im glad i watched your videos before i bought a replacement deathadder. i measured my hand and it's waaay too big for my little baby hands, but i just got used to dealing with it after all these years.
What about the lmb rmb quality? I've had my past logitech mice fail in under a year for the lmb/rmb; I use my mice and headphones very carefully. I'm assuming the lmb/rmb quality of the pro should be much better than g102/203. Anyone? Also I've given up on them and using zowie currently for over a year and half but for me they're pretty darn expensive for spartan light weight no frills mice that I actually love to use.
Hey, can you help me with mouse choice with better sensor? I looking for good budget mouse, and i hesitate between Logitech G203 and Rival 110 mouse. Which is better in your opinion? You testing both and which one have better sensor? Both mouse have good size for me. Cheers 🖐
Thank you very much for the review ! I watched this several times because i wasn't sure what to get since my DA seems a bit heavy for me and having medium hands (17.5 / 9 cm) i opted for the G203. Loving it so far and my aim in games like CS GO and Ghost in the shell has improved (smaller mice eh :D). Keep up the good work. Support !
I had 2x G203 mice. One had scrolling issues and the other one had the double click issue. I really love the shape and overal feel of the mice. Too bad you can only use it for a year.
Someone who knows how to review a mouse and whats to be needed to know. Thanks. Btw what about its Ips ? on steelseries qck+ ? Its still worth in 2019 ?
@@RyanxDunn that's a common issue on Logitechs, my g303 started doing it. You can try to dismantle and clean the switch or replace it, or contact support.
Aliexpress is going to sell these badboys for around 25 us dollars again (or 23 euros) with free shipping apparently next week. Just thought I'd give a quick heads-up for anyone not scared of importing gear from overseas. Thinking of getting one of these for my GF who's thinking of building a low-mid range PC for OW/Fortnite etc ;p Thinking of getting one of these for my GF who's thinking of building a low-mid range PC for OW/Fortnite etc ;p Might be a nice introduction into PC gaming hardware. Price/performance seems better than usual at such prices.
Followup: unfortunately mine has lenserattle which actually makes the mouse move a few pixels when shaking it up/down or left/right with the sensor taped off properly. I've contacted Logitech Europe to find out if they're of any use when it comes to Asian products (got the G102) and otherwise I'll fix/mod it myself. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes and perhaps a new set of mouse skates ;) Quite firm and clicky scrollwheel as well on this particular sample. Otherwise it's exactly like the Gpro I've tested some time ago, which is a huge compliment.
Managed to fix the loose lens myself in my faulty example ;D Performs admirably now. Slightly high liftoff distance for some reason. G403 without surface tuning: 1CD. This one (with or without lense fix): 2CD on my QCK+. On my desk, they're the same though. Other than that it's every bit as good as my much more expensive G403. The shape will be a personal thing though, of course ;)
Thank you so much for sharing this, i was looking a good mouse for my wife, her torq x10 started to failed and she needs a new one, then i found your "find a mouse" page, based on your recommendations, we decided to go for this mouse (G203) and.... SHE LOVES IT! the mouse is just perfect for her (small hand, palm grip).
I have 18cm long hands, and I use a combination of palm and finger grip. I bought the g203 and though I wasn't trying to palm it, it feels too awkward. I ended up returning it in favour of the g403. The G Pro / g203 is a slick looking little mouse, but the g403 is just as good in every way, and more comfortable for my grip style. A lot of people complain about the braided cable, but I personally don't mind because I have hard desk and hard mouse pad, so there's nothing for it to catch on. Both mice are well worth the money, but if you have big hands I would definitely recommend checking out the g403! Thanks for these reviews Rocket Jump Ninja; Very helpful!
The 203 is hands down my favorite out of all the mice I've ever owned. Being a fairly small-handed claw player, it's the only mouse that truly fits into my hand while letting me access all the buttons without having to compromise my grip. If they could find a way to fit one extra button onto it somehow and have a little more resistance on the wheel/middle click, it would be literally perfect.
honestly I come for the reviews mostly, but I really enjoy seeing you do crazy shit in quake. that was my jam back then. never was nor will I ever be good enough to do the crazy rocket acceleration trickery that you do. that being said im here to see if my g203 is comparable to the g pro. so far so good.
I own a G102, I keep telling my friends that I own a G-Pro. I kept on fooling them.
Otakunoha lol god 😂😂
Haha yeah not really i just baught it and sensor has acceleration probably bcs of firmware update
No it is shit. Bad shape and acelerarion sensor buy Rival 110 or Pro
What is your hand size? Grip style
Buy the rival 110 its probably one of the best shapes for claw and its small-medium size the sensor is really good to so it should be perfect for you!
Damn... I could listen to you talk all day. Read me a bedtime story.

Holy shit i just bought this G102 like an hour ago and turn out i ve made a great decision. Thanks RJN, great channel.
you could have just said that you didnt like it.
Joaquin Reyes it is awesome I have been playing csgo with it and awesome with flicks and doesn't lose track
Joaquin Reyes i've been using g102 for playing CsGo like 5 or 6 months now. I haven't had any issues with the mouse, it's really a good budget mouse.
i am buying this waiting no more

RIP sales on the GPRO
hondannyboy im still shure that the rival 300 will still sell.
xChidori Naruto He isn't talking about the SteelSeries Rival 300,He is talking about the Logitech G Pro. But I think of the same way.

its sensor can be spun out by tilt slam, its more durable than deathadder

This review helped me decide on upgrading to the G203. Just received it today and I'm more than happy with it, great review!
Karan Das whats the best mousepad for the g102 ?
Siddhesh Parulekar it is good for small hands
Vattghern95 how big are your hands? Im considering buying this mouse, but im worried that it wont fit with my large hands.
Is it good for palm grip ?
they actually work pretty damn well on all surfaces
I had been waiting for you to make this review for G102 and GPro! Thanks man, finally I know what to buy!
It's 2024 now should I get me one 😂?
having G102 for a month now , i can say this is the best value for money gaming mouse.
yup
Paoloh PvP is the g203 good for palm grip
i bought the g102 for 20 dollars and I'm happy to report that you are right.
I've got the G203, great mouse. Only issue I've ever had is dust build up on the sensor which causes weird spin outs. Literally just blow on the bottom of the mouse and perfect.
Great quick look - haven't even forgotten to test the mouse wheel many "reviewers" forget it exists.
Both are same
THANK YOU FOR THIS! I've been waiting for your vid on this for months now! no one reviews mice like you do! great job!
My zowie ec2-a has served me well. R.I.P EC2-A 2016-2018 i will always remember you
Just ordered the g102
Heyyyy how did it go? Do you like it?
Any double click issues after 2 years?
guys get the razer viper mini, its better than any small mouse out there
@@RyanxDunn yup after 2 years it double clicks, just ordered the deathadder v2 mini
Appreciate the support, thanks!
Zenity Games this comment is so justifying to read after buying the g102
Did you get the double click problem after some time??
Double click now? Or still good
I've never seen such straight-to-the-point reviews for mice. Amazing channel.
Bought it. No matter how fast i move it doesnt spin out and there is not any double click issue so far
Ordered a g203 a couple of days ago, seeing this review gets my hopes up even more! thanks for the review/video!
Still good?
I got the mouse 2 weeks ago, best mouse under 30$ (I got it on sale it was 23$) basically the best mouse I've ever bought.
Watching this on my G203!
Big hands/fingertip grip - excellente!
at first i was sceptical because of the low price of the G102, but after using it for 3 months, i can safely say this mouse is just great compared to previous logitech mouse ive owned (G402, G302)
the cable and the middle click is far superior than any i have ever tried,
the main and side button click tension is just right, not too soft like G302,
the weight's noticeably lighter and have better (lower) LoD even compared to G302
personally i just wish they release another version:
1. shaped smaller or flatter like G302/G303 but without the weird diamond shape
2. shaped ergonomic like G403 or Zowie EC2-A but smaller
Your style of video making is so comprehensive. Thanks for all the effort you put in. Most probably G102 is my new mouse.
I just picked up the g203 lightsync from Target for only $15. Works great so far. Thanks for the great reviews.
Rip rival 100 and GPRO
In my country this and the Rival 100 cost the same lmao
MCSlender in turkey rival 100=150 TL G102=130TL
And which one is better?
the rival 110 is coming out same sensor as g203
Emre koçak is it because the g203 and g102 and basically the g pro but cheaper? So I was wondering if I should get g203 or g pro thanks
Zy, for Mouse Buttons record you do this: Right click on the black Window "Keystrokes" of 3:55 Insert Mouse Event > Choose what you want.
I’m using G102 and I’m loving it! The best mouse I used in my life!
Ezzi0 ! hi for how long have u been using it and does it have any issue, because im planing on getting one
Nice. Any double clicking issues so far?
Still working?
EnMiKOs2 yes it is
Ryan Dunn nope
yay, thanks for doing this. i requested this some time ago, so glad you got around to it.
i got this mouse and was wondering if there was any significant difference between the g pro and this (since i dont have g pro).
And g203 is cheaper x)
using it now for about 6 months: it improved my aim and the shape is perfect for me. love it! :D
1 year later, is there any issues now? like double clicks?
When a $30 mouse passes the 'tilt slam test' but your $60 mouse doesn't
Nice, been waiting for this review for quite some time. Thanks for getting around to make this, now I am sure I want to keep it. :))
sensor "mercury" in g102 is great. i have g403 and g102, and i think g102 is great choice, if you don't need some features like sensor calibration. for it's price is just a killer.
Yes! Thank you Zy. I've been waiting for this comparison for quite awhile now.
Appreciate the work you have done. :D
This guy is my go-to when i need a need mouse 😆
thank you so much for this!!
Thank You Zy for making this review, i have been waiting for so long for u to make the g102 review :)
Great review! One of my (rare) negatives for the pro was the thick cable. Don't know why they didn't keep the surface tuning on this new one though :/
Your video saved me 60$, this is why I love your channel.
literally just ordered the gpro.
FeelsBadMan
Nour El-Deen Ayman same
The sensor is still better, who cares
I own a Gpro, don't feel too bad. Still an awesome mouse!
Ok deal, get me to a million and I'll face reveal haha

what?
thank you RJN for the review, ive bought this since 2018 and i'll never switch
How is it? People say the g102 has double click issues. I know Im late but im choosing between the g102 or rival 100
Hey Zy! I have been using the G102 for around 2 months now after switching from my G303. The mouse is fantastic, and is def my fav finger tip mouse I have ever used.
Hey, that's cool! I still prefer G303, but I'd be happy using the G102 these days too. I'm sticking with the FK2 for now though, of course.
Great review! Thorough, practical, and concise! Great choice of game for the practical demos.
The greatest mice testing channel! Thinking about buying the Logitech G102, thank you, Rocket Jump Ninja! (:
the sensor used in g102 is called Mercury sensor
i ordered the white one (i live in kor :D) and i am really looking forward to use it
I have both the G203 and the G Pro.
It's weird because I've been using my g102 for a year now and I haven't experienced any "use and tear".
ty for your in depth review and also sugestions regarding the size of a mouse, never knew about that and made me switch from a rival 310 to this...much more confortable for my hands.
The things I hated about the G102 was the mediocre scroll wheel (or on my friend's copy at least), the uneven tension of the left and right button which are lighter on the tip and heavier on the back, and the texture; somehow I prefer glossy or soft-touch for better grip
Pretty sure this shape would suit any person that aren't bound to true palm grips, it's really nice.
Which mousepad do you have ??? For I use a hyperx mousepad and the lod is more than 1 cd
was running 500hz on a plain Qck+
I have been researching mice for a while until I saw your channel and this video. The mouse was an instant buy. Your passion for Quake got me interested to try Champions too. I am really enjoying the game and my mouse!
FINALLY! A comparison that I've been too long waiting for :D
Anyways... better cable, better Mouse 3 Click, better PRICE, what else would one need...
Nice shape, nice buttons (M1/M2 subjectively a bit on the light weight side tho... ) very good build quality...
The new "Mercury" sensor seems to be doing a perfectly fine job at tracking... (much better value $$$)
G102/G203 - Dang good. Dang, DANG GOOD! The perfect mouse for pretty much any sane gamer.
Costinmusca what do u think about g402? should i buy g102 or g402
Costinmusca thanks a lot man
What do you think I should do get the g pro or the g203
G203
Also after seeing the vid where you show most of your mouse collection all at once, it has inspired me to continue collecting mice myself (don't ask why i do this cause even i don't know. i guess i just like having options =) lol) but now i'm one mouse closer to catching up to you XD hahaha
i currently have an ec2-a and think of getting an g102, how do you like it so far compared to your ec2b ?
I've been asking for this for along time, BTW I'm rocking a g102
Ordered to g102 two weeks ago, hyped to receive it soon (hopefully).
all these 70 euro zowie mice i bought, and now im using this 20 euro g102 because i like it over all 6 zowie mice i have, wtf
All of the sudden they make a perfect mouse for 20 euro, and most people dont even know about this mouse and still buying 70 euro zowie mice like i did xD
Yeah... this one will break competition if ppl get to know how good it is and its price.... rofl
Hey man. Any issues that you've noticed after 2 years?
Thank you for the review and the new Mic sounds really clear.
Finally Zy, this helped a lot! :)
Brilliant review, honest and clear. Well done, subbed!
Zy, you are so professional. Never let that go.
Still is 2 years later
My g203 came with very rough and defined scroll steps but luckily they became more smooth over time though they still feel very cheap. My g403 scrollwheel feels really nice.
Doughnut Digger Can you tell me about the material of the mouse. Is it rubberized to hold ? My hands are always dry and i have a lot of difficulty to hold a mouse as it slips a lot. Will it hold well ?

2000 people probably already said this but you can record mouse clicks with the macro editor, you just have to insert them manually by right clicking, dont press the record button for adding mouse imputs
Update: I bought the g203 today and there is a firmware update for the mouse that expands the dpi to 8000 max.
Edit(25/03/2018): My g203's sensor just died, it only lasted 6 months.
What about macros? Does it really unable to record mouse buttons for macros?
Sashik Pro it does record macros for every buttpn including g shift
thank for the reply. Potato, do u know, does it possible to bind a side button with a macro for example "left mouse spam click" ?
It also seems to cause acceleration.
Sashik Pro yes you can, just like any other button
im glad i watched your videos before i bought a replacement deathadder. i measured my hand and it's waaay too big for my little baby hands, but i just got used to dealing with it after all these years.
I just found one used g203 that someone dropped for recycling, it work flawlessly.

Great review, I was waiting for this one :)
Very detail review.
Have a g102 and this videos make me love it more. Thank you
Tried this, with hand size of 19x9 cm, mostly palm gripping this mouse is way too small for my preference....
Mohammad Hafidz maybe try the steelseries rival 300
Mohammad Hafidz maybe change to claw , it's impossible with ur hand size to grip it for palm grip
My hand size is 1 cm smaller and i can use the rival 300 palm grip easily for hours long.
currently I'm in between EC2-A or G403, Rival 300 seems bit too large imo...
Mohammad Hafidz Its made for this size of hands just so you know. But if you like smaller mouses more go with that
honestly I come for the reviews mostly, but I really enjoy seeing you do crazy shit in quake. that was my jam back then. never was nor will I ever be good enough to do the crazy rocket acceleration trickery that you do. that being said im here to see if my g203 is comparable to the g pro. so far so good.
