AC-130 can carry missles too.
Have been on AC-130"s in Panama Howard AFB and they had no missiles, just a lot of fire power. There where no missile guidance systems on the plane. Where did you get that information ?
The C- 130 shown is a J model with simitar props. C-130E has 4 bladed props. Crew Chief C-130E 64-1799 146th TAW CANG 1986-1990. Get it right OK. There are no F model 130"s in 1962 there where "B" models.

These bombs are not "scary" and it does harm to their recognition and to the reputations of the personnel who handle these bombs, for you to use the word "scary" in reference to what is an entirely ordinary ordnance. These weapons, first of all, are not design to win through the instilling of fear within the enemy; they are designed to be deadly and they are so effective that the enemy is probably dead too fast to invoke a fear response in the first place. Second of all, the personnel who work close to these weapons handling them, checking them, counting them, locating them, installing them arming them, and releasing them over duly selected targets are themselves not in the slightest bit afraid of these weapons. There is not one single aspect of these weapons that "scares" the thousands of personnel who are most familiar with them and spend the most time close by them, not even a scent of fear within those aircraft personnel who spend time close to these weapons in their armed state. And finally, not only is the enemy not "scared", not only are the personnel not "scared", but you yourself should not find yourself afraid of these weapons unless you yourself have in some way done in a cross and inconsiderate manner some offense to The United States of America.
Also, they are blue... inert training load. Iron filled with concrete.
