6 DAYS UNTIL LIVING IN A CARAVAN FULL TIME - Back Tyres Warned Out On The Y62, What happened?

Thank you all for being here we're deep into learning all about our setup how it tows.
what we need to look for, certain things that may be different to others that we need to be cautious of.
we currently have our 2023 Y62 Nissan Patrol towing over 3 tonne and learning so much prior to our travels full time.
For us it's important we did a small trip to learn it all as we have never done this before to learn more about what is needed.

Check out the AAA suspension coil delete. Auto levelling when weight is hooked on the rear. Will stop the wheels getting out of alignment with weight change on rear 👌🏽

Firstly - Did you guys have camber correction bushes done when doing the 4499KG GVM? Highly recommend you do. Your car has too much positive camber when unloaded. This is why it eats the outside of the tyre.
2 - find a new tyre shop.. old mate doesn’t seem like he knows much about the 62 cars. If I was told to not be inside a workshop and spoken to like that I would’ve grabbed my car and left
3 - when not loaded at all, should have your rear airbags at 5psi. Only inflate before you fit the van etc.
They’re a solid vehicle, but need someone who understands them to work on it for you. Once you got your head around IRS they’re not as bad as you think.
Mines fully loaded with canopy etc at 4.4T on 37s and I’ve hit it hard AF when 4WDing tracks and some of the worst corrugations in Oz and never had my alignment knocked around. But definitely get an alignment done every 5K kms.

I think you guys should really check your weights. A GVM upgrade doesnt help when towing as you are up to 3.5T towing, unless your caravan tare weight is ok, as your GCM is 7T so really your car cant be more than 3.5T including the ball weight. I didnt folloe what you were saying with your ball weight adding to your caravan weight in your last video, not sure you really needed the upgrade suggested as Im not sure why you need to worry about having a higher ATM on your caravan when you cant tow more than 3.5 T anyway. Maybe get it all professionally checked out to be safe. Love the videos

I'm a Toyota man, if I was going to do what you guys are going to do RAM 1500 all the way, a lot of less headaches.

I would of thought old mate at the tyre shop would of recommend you measure before the van goes on and pump the bags up to the same measurement after the van goes on.

Hoping they covered your tyres under the tyre brand warranty. Barely 5000ks on them? Also just get balance, rotation and alignment done when vehicle service's every 10,000klm. Especially running 34s. That way you aware of routine service's of the vehicle also for main warranty covers.🤙

Your tyres are chewed up because you are towing and did not increase pressure in rear tyres.
Depending on your towball weight, go up to 60psi in rear tyres. There is no other magic to it, no wheel alignment is going to fix that. It costs you nothing to try.
I also learned this hard way.
