In this episode we wanted to share our Nighttime Routine with our girls since we have been living in our caravan travelling!
I remember how much I used to try and picture how bedtimes would work before we moved into a caravan so wanted to share it with anyone else who is curious!

Your awning is at its strongest the way you have it set up in this video. If you loosen the knobs slightly on the arms that you slide up, then pull down ever so slightly on the main arms, then tighten the knobs, it’ll help with your awning flapping in the wind. Make it a habit to tie your awning down when it’s out. You don’t want it breaking in the wind. Seen it happen several times before. I love how green you are and take us all on your journeys. None of us started out experts. Safe travels.

Good advice there Mark. Make sure you got some serious pegs and rope not crappy 200mm ones and 5mm rope like I’ve seen. My advice is, learn the weather app and put the awning away if the forecast calls for strong wind.
If you are expecting rain it’s also a good idea to have one end of the awning lower than the other for water run off 😊
Put a couple of lightweight recliner chairs with separate foldup footstools under that awning, a small side table and a bottle of red. Perfect😊

Put a paint mark on your favourite pole hole setting to make it easier

You should use tie downs for your awning (CZcams it😁😁), in my travels I have seen a few awnings ripped off by a freak wind gusts.

You should look up the regulations for hooking up your bbq, If you use your bayonet fittings on your van, your bbq needs to be fitted with a flame failure device.
I was about to post the same, webber can't be attached to a bayonet, they'll void their warranty on the van
Correct . Get a separate gas bottle just for the bbq , it is a bit of a pain but it better than having to purchase a $200 flame iq device that also requires a power source.

Anti-flap kit and tie downs. We wouldn’t be without them. Been through some wind with ours but always take it down if it gets a bit wild.
