Teaching a pro Street Fighter 5 player how to play Third Strike

- Today we're joined by the very skilled Street Fighter V player and excellent content creator, Brian F! Brian is going to be undergoing my not-so-expert tutelage in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, to see if his fundamentals as a great sf5 player will carry over to this older game! I've only got 10 minutes for this challenge, then he's gonna hop online and see if he can hold his own with Oro against the ranked players!

Seeing Brian_F's progression and adaptation evolve throughout the video was a treat to watch. Shows his calibre as a fighting game player.

I wouldn´t call JMcrofts a "mediocre" player at all but I certainly appreciate the humbleness when referring to a top SFV player such as Brian. This is very ingenious and entertaining collaboration video the likes I have never seen before in the FGC. Keep them coming!

This is making me wanna pick up 3rd Strike, it looks fun as hell!
As a 40 year old that grew up with SF2, played some Alpha and only played 3rd strike like 4 years ago. I hated 3rd strike, didn’t love the roster, found the animation movement strange. But late last year I was like “eh, I’ll play some.” And I have to say, it just came alive for me. Still not my favorite, but it’s a great game and fun to play.
Many people say it’s the greatest street fighter game, if not the greatest fighting game of all time

27:47 - watch oro's arm here, he goes in and out of block animation rapidly in sync with gouki's tatsu. I've never seen that before

@@adamswing6115 Not rollback, it's perfectly in sync with the Tatsu hitboxes. It's proximity auto-block quickly activating and de-activating.
Just stumbled upon your content a few weeks ago and I must say you've been pumpin' out great videos! I haven't played fighting games for over a decade and it's fun to see people that are still passionate about it. Keep up the great content!

Very entertaining! It's a cool idea, teaching someone a different game than they are expert on, but in the same series. He had the general idea how some characters will play, and the controls are pretty much the same, plus he has the fundamentals already down... Very fun!😁👍

Watching this was pretty entertaining because even though I know I could wash Brian_F in SF3 he's talking about frame advantage and negative frames and stuff and I have almost no knowledge of any of that so yeah in a matter of hours he would be better than me.
I like the collaboration seems like a pretty good fit as both have PMA overall. Only hiccup is when jmcrofts is trying to talk while fighting his voice turns into a demon lol.
The reverse video would definitely be interesting just to see the contrast.
I'd like to see one of you guys play Bafael sometime. His 3S knowledge is great and that Oro is always entertaining.
Late to the party, but great vid! Currently little after 21:18 and when I saw triple LP I instantly felt the Akuma’s urge to demon and I started watching the meter build; I felt that shit in my bones, I was not prepared for it to hit tho
