    🎯 I have created this video in response to one email who asked me to comment on how I work with stakeholders, build trust and ensure I am being taken seriously. I have felt ill this week (full of cold) but still decided to create a video. As I created and edited it, I had an idea to create a Human Resources Business Partner series where I can discuss in a dedicated way all topics that we are dealing with as business partners, with tools, plans, frameworks, future trends and where HR needs to change and adapt to evolve as a function with the changing times and needs etc. In this video, I share my personal examples, feedback and 4C model that you can use in preparation for your stakeholder meetings and introductory one to ones from time to time.

    I have never thought I would have a series on CZcams but here I am, giving it a go. Hope you enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.

    🧐 WHO AM I? I wish I had this channel when I was at Uni and transitioned into working world and next chapter in my life. It would have certainly made things easier for me. So here I am, 10 years later having a go at making videos and sharing content and tools that are centred around personal and career development, psychology, neuroscience hacks that aim to help us work smarter, better and happier. My goal is for you to realise your potential and do something about it. Basically, everything that schools and universities don't cover in great detail.
    I am a school volunteer, mentor, law graduate and HR professional. I live and work in England. I work full time in a senior HR Business Partner role, I am also a mom to Alexander, married to Tony.

    🎯Hi all. I have been ill all this week (you may notice it in my voice 🤧) but I have managed to create this video yesterday (and edit too which can take hours to be honest but I enjoy it 🛠). I did not know until yesterday that this video would lead me to create an HRBP series focusing on everything we do, create in our roles. My video - day in the life of HRBP (which is not a life style video btw) - did so well. I received so many comments and messages that there is clearly an interest and many of you are Business Partners, or aspiring Business Partners. More detail in the description box. I will be publishing other videos too but I wanted to have a dedicated series focusing on HRBP role.
    I have also started to pull together video ideas for a start up series and what start ups need to be mindful of from an HR perspective when setting up and growing their business. This is technically a consultancy type role that I would like to do full time in the future so I thought I can create content and videos and not wait for a full time role to land in this field.

    Sanja I have only just bumped into your video today. I am a Business Partner myself but have found your channel very informative, well structured and professional. This particular topic I have always struggled with it when ask at inteviews how do you maintain relationship with stakeholders? Mind you I am a contract therefore then to interview every now and then when a particular contract ends. Thanks so much I will look and invest in the tools you have it is really worth it.

      Thank you for watching. Let me know how you get on. It has worked really well for me over the last 5 years, I get quite good feedback about my working style as I invest so much upfront and minimise any overthinking. I often ask for feedback upfront too which does help with minimising any anxiety. So learning and asking at the same time is a key strategy for me. Good luck in your new role! Keep in touch.

      Hi Shruti, I would suggest any books on organisations design, strategic workforce planning, stakeholder management, problem solving, critical thinking, business cases, creating and innovation is a great start.
