I ordered it after the reviews. I had the Hog set up was not as compact .This will be much easier and user friendly. You can't go wrong with any EHX product.

Adding a compressor pedal really helped the sound and levels. Before that the B9 sound would "swell" too much and kill the mix.

Can you get anything like the 'Shimmer' setting from the C9 set up on the B9? What settings on the B9 would achieve a similar sound to 'Shimmer'?

Bought one today. Beautiful sound when coupled with the other pedals.
    But...
I have one issue, which happens to be an important one for our band:
How to I get the B9 to breathe infinitely? Or a longer decay?
Anybody have any ideas? my guitar is tuned to A#

Use a delay or reverb pedal after the b9 and set the decay to longer

Get the ehx freeze pedal and put that in your signal chain with the organ and run the rest of your effects threw the dry output of the pedal

Do you know of anything like this that will give a grand or upright piano sound?

Wayne Danberry this far away in the future i think. You can use a midi-converter to do this. I love to play piano by using my axon guitar to midi converter. And behind my acoustic guitar I used a string-pad. Unfortunately you need a hex-pickup - and I don't want to put this thing on my $3500 SJ-200. So the organ machine is a nice feature behind my acoustic sound and ist a great effect to fill the chorus ore something by pressing a volume pedal and get more from the B9.

Don't know. Even the Boss SY-300 is not able to do this - but it has many good sounds like pads or something.
