My Leopard Gecko Terrariums 1 Year Later...

- My leopard geckos Sylvia and Rune have been set up in their naturalistic terrariums for a year now, so it's time for an update on how they've been doing. Sylvia recently had a bit of a health scare with nearly becoming egg bound, which prompted a trip to the vet and almost needing surgery to remove her egg!
The terrariums that my leos live in are the H3 cages from Custom Cages. The vivariums that my frogs and crestie live in are the amphibious tanks from Custom Aquariums. They've all been set up for about a year now and my animals and I are loving this rack setup. Here are some links if you want to research more about these enclosures.

I rarely ever comment or like a video but I just wanted to say...
Every time i see a new upload from you, I get a mini heart attack due to excitement. I started watching your videos awhile back and it led me to fall in love with watching fish videos! I never really enjoyed fish that much or saw the appeal but, after watching your gold fish videos, i just fell in love. They are so STINKING CUTE!!!!! I love your videos so much from how you film, how informative it can be, and just your energy! So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for putting in all of the work you have when it comes to filming and editing!!!

I actually appreciate that you are able to update your projects and pets after a year.
Some youtubers drop big projects (like your pond) over time and let them go. I've seen youtubers create great big aquascapes and then just let them go. They get overrun by algae because they didn't want to take care of the tank/enclosure so they just destroy it and move onto the next thing that they inevitably let go because they don't want to maintain it. Your pond looks great and everything you have looks great.
Same with pets. They show you all these pets/make "how to care for" videos but then you never see the pet again and wonder if they died.
You give updates of your pets and all the changes you make and constantly improve to aim for long lifespan of both your pets and your projects. It's great. It's reassuring that you're not out there pumping out videos left and right to the point that you can't keep track of the living lives of those you care about. Video making takes soooo much time, I don't understand how people can do it daily.
Never apologize for taking time for self care! Your mental health is so very important. More important than making videos. We love and appreciate you and your animals so much! I’m glad to here you are doing well again

Pain is relative and you can never compare the pain two separate people feel. Stay strong when you can and take a break when you need to! I love your herps and hope to see more of them when you feel like it

I'm glad you and Silvia are both doing better, and wow Rune's personality reminds me so much of my male leopard gecko, Ghost. Hates being handled, loves to hide, skinnier tail (but still healthy) because he's not much of a piggy.

I’m not even through the video yet, but I had to stop and say that I’m glad you took the time to get back to where you wanted to be mentally. It’s so important that we take care of ourselves and we so often forget or just plain neglect doing so. Keep progressing and always strive to be happy with where you are in life.
You don't have to be sorry for time between videos! This is your life, Live Your Best Life! We are just thankful for all the videos you do upload. Everyone needs breaks sometimes. I would rather you make videos when youre up for it than you to feel pressure to make them. It makes a big difference. 😊 Happy you are doing better 😄

Oh my goodness, look how big the dart frogs are!!! They've really grown. The animals all look great. Yep, Rune has grown a lot too! Oh, wow, poor Sylvia, that could not have been pleasant. Glad she made it. Good to see you're doing better too!
