Hey! So I'm a new leopard gecko owner as well! I think you're video is so awesome and I love your personality! I've watched so many videos on CZcams for leopard gecko before and after I got her, and I love love love love your videos! You're so vibrant! And you're absolutely right, " the difference between fear and respect is knowledge" - preach girl! I'm not scared of the leopard gecko itself, more of the feeders. I just have been conditioned from young to be scared of any creepy crawly insects! I'm in the process of trying some dubia roaches (because I think I'm less afraid of them than crickets; they stink, they're loud and they escape!). Wish me luck and keep on posting! I absolutely agree to the fear thing. I'm scared of spiders, and I'm far away from handling one, but I do find them very very cool and that's all because of exposure. I haven't had the chance to see one in real life for quite some time, but I did watch a lot of youtube videos on them. There are some very very cool looking spiders out there and maybe some day I'll be able to keep one! :)

Wow I'm jealous the reptile expo that just passed by Portland Oregon a few weeks ago was all ball pythons and corn snakes as far as the eye can see not one single aquatic turtle

that was my first reptile show, we didnt get there till 2 on Saturday but we did get 2 leopard geckos from LLLreptile, a hypo tangerine female and an eclipse male, my wife held the big sunglow boa also!
so cool! I was kind of bummed that I didn't make it on saturday, most of the leos were gone on sunday.
@@TheTurtleGirl they must have brought more out because there was only 2 left after i got mine, 1 giant at LLLreptile, and one other sickly lookin one from another vendor. yours is very nice tho! im gonna be making videos on mine soon too.
Well first of all that's not really lots of people :D I was at the Reptile Expo in Hamm in Germany several weeks ago and it was literally taking me 10 minutes to move 10 feet across the hall, there was absolutely no way you could even record any video in there it was so crowded. Took me good 2 hours just to collect pre-ordered animals from 3 tables :)
Secondary was there really only 2 leos for sale? On our crappy little expo there was good few tables with them alone. But love your gecko, he looks really good.
There was 4 that I saw. We did go on the second day, so it's possible that many of them sold on the first day. Also, our expos tend to have more snakes and cresties for sure. I know that at expos past, their have been a couple tables, but unfortunately not this time around :)

You have to pass through quarantine before putting her in her real tank! It is more important that it seems, it can prevent really bad shits, and you have to make sure that she is not caring parasites or is not ill. I recommend a tank/plastic bin with paper towels, hides, water bowl and calcium bowl for at least four weeks to make sure that the gecko is eating and pooping correctly. I hope you will see this, many gecks have died from a subit environment change.

I have a black pearl cross and a purple head blood. Both females.

I have an important question so my cousin had this turtle and he kept her in terrible conditions he didnât have uvb lights or heating light, he gave her those foam floating docks that she doesnât like going to, not heater just a tank and filter with fake plants so he gave her to me to take care of and I have ordered everything she needs but it will take a week to come and when I got her she ate and pooped but today I have fed her but she has not pooped all day and Iâm worried her congestional track is blocked and I donât know what to do PLEASE HELP me with advice

I went to this looking for a leopard gecko! Did you arrive right as the doors opened? I didnât see any leopard gecko venders when I got there.
I went a couple hours after opening on Sunday...they didn't have much...I recall only seeing a total of 4 geckos from 2 different vendors.

Did yours started eating as yet. I just got mine 2 weeks ago and still refuses to eat. Lots of people said it will take time for them to eat.
I guess I was just lucky but mine ate on the first day and doesn't seem to be picky. Taking dubia roaches and superworms without a problem.

54 liters is quite small for a turtle....an aquaclear is a great filter but on such a small tank I don't think it would be ideal. Is it possible to get your turt a bigger tank?
The Turtle Girl yes but its a musk turtle that is about 5 months so it's not a big turtle at all đ BUT do you think an aquaclear will be good on a 54l tank that is not filled all the way up to the top?
