- In this tutorial i'll demonstrate how to connect your MagicQ remote app to MagicQ running on Mac. [It works the same way on PC]
MagicQ has to be OUT of demo mode.
So you must have either a console that is connected to an external router or MagicQ [blue] hardware [listed in the video] in order to have the software unlocked.

How to change temperature colour of a head (a practilite DMX) with the MaqicQ Remote app ? On a TV set (in studio), a chamsys console is used with a tablet. Do we go to "Win" + "Colour Palettes windows" ? I know that for changing intensity we go to "Key" and then we select the number of the head with the keypads + @ pourcentage intensity needed. But for changing temperature color is more confused. Thx, best regards

I have a question about unlocking Magic Q from the Demo version. If I use the Dual DMX Box to unlock it from Demo mode, can I still use the Execute Window Full Screen mode? In the manual it says that the only way to use Full Screen Execute Window is if a PC Wing is connected. So does that mean that even though it is out of demo mode by using the Dual DMX box I still can't use the Full Screen Execute Window?
Dual dmx box will unlock it out of demo and will allow full screen exec mode. Show me where it says it need pc wing. I guarantee 200% that manual says that its a part of a restriction, as soon as demo mode goes off, all features but midi notes will become available with dual
Dmx node. Midi notes are available with rack mount dongle

It clearly states Exec window full screen
Unlocked in demo mode.

@@chamsysrus Thank You for clarification. I always try to reference the manual before asking questions. I know you are busy and must get endless questions from people who don't read the manual. FYI, that link I sent you is what came up when I searched my question on google...Thanks again for a quick response. I'm a big fan of Chamsys and I feel like it's the best lighting software option for small-mid sized clubs. Which is why I try to sell Chamsys to clubs in all my installs.
i followed your video and have my IP set in magic q and not see anything on my iPad. I am on the latest app and version of magic q and I have a PC wing so I am not in demo mode. thanks.
Have u selected ip address of your pc to be compatible with your wifi router’s one?
By latest sw version u mean latest beta or stable? And plz confirm sw verion of remote app.
@@chamsysrus i ahve fix my problem there is a setting for allowing remote that need to be turn on.
Mine won't let me set levels like that, what did I do wrong.
need more information before i can say what is not going the way it does on your side.
@@chamsysrus the encoder wheels don't do anything at all but look pretty on iPAD.
