This special is great, I highly suggest reacting to his "Go Home" special filmed in Edinburgh Scotland. Or the Weekly Wipe series he did for Charlie Brooker in the UK. Also his bit about ISIS is hilarious. He's just so great, comedians like Bill Burr and Louis C.K. LOVE this guy.
This is probably my favorite set by any comedian ever. It really makes you think honestly and rational, something so many have almost no clue how to do anymore.

Stanhope is not the comedian for the lighthearted or Prohibitionist teetotalers. He’s an admitted alcoholic and somehow he keeps his act together after all the years he’s been rising up the ladder. He will not get to the top, but like Bill Hicks, I feel that he has made his point that becoming another Leno or Seinfeld would not make them happy. Bill was offered the opportunity but declined, possibly due in part that he was aware of his cancer longer before it took him from us, or perhaps he just knew that his work would have to be altered to fit the criteria of the starmakers. Doug, he isn’t gonna make it because while alcohol’s the most popular drug in America it’s also the most scorned drug when the user gets distasteful and embarrasses the wrong people, which would be the ones who have the power to do the worst damage to the people who offended them. I just hope Doug doesn’t kill himself before I get the chance to see him live.
