Dry Bar is located in Utah, just to give context to anyone wondering why there was NO response when he asked for other only children. LOL
Lol thanks for pointing that out. I thought it was so odd NOBODY else was an only.
😊😊
@@tere898 I'm from Utah and I still thought it was weird 😂
Ing utah Growing up with a family of 4 it was considered really small. My dad was raised with 9 other siblings and mom had 3. And we had 2 lol
😂😂😂
I also had that "having dinner with a married couple" feeling. That's so clever and true! Funny guy.
This guy is good! I suspect he attracts enough weird situations to be a stand-up for many years to come!
First time I’ve ever watched this guy. He had me laughing out loud. Definitely going to check out more of his material.
"there's so many beta males, we could form an army! We just need a leader...." 😂😂😂
Amazing set, Jeff! I was also an only child with bunk beds. Yes, I was a weird kid. 😂
Baptised by life itself is a great line
Probably the only audience where he wouldn't get a single clap on the only-child question.
Well it is Utah. He should research the location. 🤣
@@MasterMalrubius it worked in his favor. Awe, alone AGAIN? heh
This guy had me audibly chuckling throughout. I think the audience lacked humor honestly. He deserved a lot more claps at intervals. Love this awkward, neurotic humor lol. Look forward to seeing him again.
He just put out an hour long special!!!!
What a great story teller. Enjoyed every minute of his show.
“Hence the gap” bhahaa😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jeff is one of the very few underrated NYC comedians
I love this guy .... he's totally weird but quick-witted as well. No one else like him, that's for sure !😂😅
I was glad to see a fellow Only kid up there doing comedy! When I was younger I wanted a big brother and I envied friends from big families. But now that I think about it, I got to enjoy the positive things about big families through my friends and was able to skip the squabbling and drama. Lol
What a wonderful way you’ve learned to tell such a difficult story
Which story? Getting hit by a car?
@@acidwizard6528yeah I assume that one.
Oh man, this guy is a legitimately funny story teller. Best I've heard in a long time.
Omg, sleeping with a brain injury literally feels like "Wish me luck!". So funny he was able to capture that odd sensation haha
The weird doom feeling as you lose consciousness is 🤌
I judge comedians by how many times I laugh out loud. This guy gets a thumbs up from me!
He said “any only’s” and someone went “This is Utah”
I LOVED being an only child. Married into a family of 3 brothers, 12 blood aunts and uncles and so many cousins that I wish they would have worn name tags at family events. Thirty years later, I still can't remember all of their names. And don't get me started about THEIR children's names. 😂 Maybe that's why I didn't have any kids. 😁 Great job, Jeff! So hilarious.
It's so much easier to be an only child when you're part of a large family that you see regularly! Totally different experience, agreed.... it's like having siblings, but you don't get sick of eachother, and you don't have to share your toys in the evenings.
Hi fellow only child who also didn't have kids! I loved it as well. Three's a crowd if you ask me!
OMG so many names to remember. And I really don't have much in common with most of these people, much less my husband these days 😂@@invictaland1983
This is surely one of the best dry bar comedy performes
I was an only child until I was almost thirteen, then, surprise, twin sisters. So I feel this. 😂😂😂
Good set. That "water breaking" joke is one of the FUNNIEST bits I've ever heard. It's in the "top 20", easy.
(At 62, I've heard lotsa *funny things,* so I gotta say 'top 20" rather than "top 10" LMAO)
Cool to see a huge fan of comedy appreciating jeff.
Both my husband and I are only children and so is our daughter! Poor thing!
You’re all fine.
Same!
Only child here and I relate to a lot of this. I had night terrors too and slept with the folks a lot or on the floor in their room.
Can I ask how old you are now? Do you have trouble falling asleep? I’m a new mom of a 2 year old and I worry we won’t be having another child due my declining patience, lol. But I do wonder about her being an only child and if it will affect her long term.
@@kylorenthehusky2584I have several co-workers who are the only child and they all have said it was wonderful, no one to share with or fight and got all the attention.
I had a sibling and slept with my parents off and on till I was 12 or maybe older…
She will outgrow it. It is harder to deal with the fallout of making her sleep alone when she's not ready, than to provide a safe spot for her when she feels vulnerable at night. @@kylorenthehusky2584
@@kylorenthehusky2584 There is no evidence that only children are any less well-adjusted or successful than those with siblings, more or less lonely, or have other social issues comparatively. I watched a video the other day with a woman who said she had 7 siblings but grew up feeling lonely and alone because she wasn't like her siblings (different appearance and interests, but definitely related to them).
You can grow up with siblings you love or ones you hate. You can have none and wish you did, or be happy being singular. It's really up to who your kid is fundamentally as a person, not their circumstances. I grew up with two siblings and I do love them, but I'd have been equally happy having grown up alone. I'm an introvert and don't miss having people around me when I'm alone.
It's better to choose what is best for you and your partner/spouse, than to make the decision according to what you think your kid might prefer. Whatever you decide, show a kid love and kindness, and they'll probably grow up to say they had a happy childhood. :)
This was really funny (this was really funny)
I was an ONLY, and it was great 👍
Jeff is funny! Good choice DryBar
Only child with a bunk bed 🖐🏾
I always wanted a bunk bed and my mom said it made no sense because I had no siblings. I'm 38 and I still want one. 😂 I pushed HARD for one in the spare room, but my husband said no. I'll never have a bunk bed. Poop.
Screw that. You got a job? Buy one anyway. Don't let anyone stand in the way of your dreams - not even your husband. Lol.
Get him a bunkbed for Christmas
We used a loft bed to fullfill my childhood top bunk fantasies. It had a desk underneath. I have an older brother but he was a way older teen at the time
@@sachagilley2315 we compromised and built a blanket fort. 😋
Same here and I’m 40 haha
Missed opportunity with the dog story.. "I did it for you!.. 'whisper' i did it for you.." o_o
XD
Im only and my parents bought me bunk beds as well. Hilarious
I’m an only and this was so relatable 😂 Absolutely loved this set! Truly funny 🤣
"After that, you're not afraid of the dark anymore." 😂
A ginger that whispers things is a demon🤣😂🤣😂
Can confirm 😂😅😂
I know the pain of being the only child... Who also had bunk beds
I’m an only child and I had bunk beds and I feel your pain
I grew with only one sibiling and trust me you are not missing on anything by being the only child. No fights, no comparisons, no sharing....
@@edithdlp8045 yeah, but also had no parents. Dad left when 2, mom left when I was 7.
At least it was bunk beds. Only child with 2 twin beds...🙃
The car accident story had me in TEARS laughing! 😂
He is hilarious!
My son and daughter are two years apart. They didn’t get along for the first decade or so. Now they’re best friends (18 and 16) :)
My parents divorced... so I was just a kid with a parent. I never knew what it was like with two parents.
Same. My parents divorced when I was 13 and my father wasn't really there even prior to that. So up until I was 13 I would play board games alone and after 13 celebrating holidays got super awkward lol
@@RhythmAddictedState I used to have to play board games by myself too! One of my sons had just 1 child & I really hope she never feels as lonely as I was.
@@Saintly2 I personally didn't feel particularly lonely as I learnt to entertain myself without needing someone else. I only had two friends too. Maybe that's just me being an introvert? I do think that's one of the positives of being an only child with one parent - you learn how to be by yourself and keep yourself company. The downside is when your emotional needs aren't being met because your parents aren't emotionally available or simply are absent.
On the other hand, I have a cousin who has always been very extroverted and who is also an only child (his parents are still together though). He would say "I'm bored!" out loud, which I never understood. How can you ever be bored? He had a lot of toys, consoles - you name it - and even with all that he would proclaim how bored and lonely he was 😂
You are lucky to have just one parent😅
I always wanted to have just one!😅
@@RhythmAddictedStateWe are all different. I barely ever feel bored, unless I am with boring people, but I do feel lonely sometimes, and I felt very lonely all my childhood and most of adulthoods. You can't help what you feel I guess
😂❤ he's awkward and I love it!!
A new face and funny to boot!
Kid has a future in comedy for sure.
Great set! The whole bus thing was gold!
More!
Best comedian on Dry Bar - maybe ever😂!!
What just happened?!!
That was the funniest sh!+ I have ever heard! Mind blowing good time. That was the fastest ride, through 28 mins and 20 seconds, I’ve ever been taken on. Purely ingenious
A year from now, people will remember him as Jeff Adams, the funny comedian that got hit by a bus.
What?
Ewe why would you say that!
Ew why would you write that?!
For the commenters - listen to the whole video before making a comment.
@@blankenmom those people are the reason we can’t have nice things.
I'm surprised & amused to find out that buying bunk beds for an only child seems to be a common thing!😄
It does give you extra space to put things. I had a sister, but when we got older, I had the bunk bed in my room. I slept on the top and had room for stuff on the bottom.
This guy is hilarious, I feel that only child shiz😂
Good onya Jeff, and thanks to the cameraman who panned to the muppets in masks when you said "weird" absolutely perfect timing!
Very very funny guy. I laughed out loud a lot!! Keep up the good work sir !
I got hit by a car and walked home because the guys who hit me panicked, didn't call an ambulance or the police, but asked if they could drive me to the hospital or home. All I could think was, "Never get into a car with strangers", so I told them, "I know where I live" and walked away. About half a block later enough shock wore off for the pain to hit. Took more than a year to recover. Never did see a doctor.
That's an insane story. My sister got hit before, and like 10 min later got hit again but I guess it evened her out. She didn't see a doctor either.
Maybe siblings would've made that go faster.
That’s crazy.
My younger brother got ran over (literally) by a pickup while riding his bike a few years ago. His bike was twisted in half, so we were all confused how he came out with minimum injury.
The driver panicked and took off. A city bus driver that saw what happened followed him into a dead end street and made him come back to the scene, which was full of cops by then.
The driver was a 21 year old kid who then got hit with reckless endangerment, hit and run, and a few other charges.
We took the bike to a local bike shop to get an estimate for insurance and upon seeing the bike and hearing what happened, his first question is “is your brother still alive?” He couldn’t believe so much damage could be caused to the bike and the person on it possibly survived
@@sammyb861angels 😇
I was a pale only child ginger that whispered things too! 😂
Laughed out loud way too many times 🤣🤣🤣
Strong material.
Keep going!
That ending was also pretty good lol
Lmfao it's done and I still can't breathe ....crying over here ....this was awesome 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks!
This was the best comedy I've seen 😂
We all need a friend like him 😂
This was fun, thanks!
What a gem!!! Jeff is actually hilarious. I love his spin on life. Excellent story teller😂 Thank you for not using the same running dad joke formula as the last couple guys I skipped over after several minutes of lame jokes. Can’t wait to see his set in person 🫶🏼
What brilliant set 🔥 loved it❤️✨
Fantastic set! Well done!!
Loved him! Great show!
Brilliant set, great delivery 😂😂.
The first 38 seconds hit home lol and funny
BRILLIANT🙏❣️👏 Great Story Tellin’ Love the Honesty & Delivery‼️ Keep Goin’ YoungFella 🤙😉
LOL just what I needed to roll my cranky butt out of bed 😂😂😂😂
WOW this is an amazing set! 😂😂😂
My sister and younger brother hated me and oldest brother was bat-sh*t crazy.
You onlys probably dodged many bullets.
Yeah, that’s a lesson I’m learning from texting my half sister…she’s 13 years older & we’ve never met face to face. 😵💫
Jeff Scheen is a comedy master! And a weirdo. As an only child, it takes one to know one?
I see clips of people doing weird things like fitting their entire body through a toilet seat or flip coins with their nose or whatever and think "that guy's an only child. No other excuse for that" 😂
This guy is under rated
That was a solid show. Great comedian, very talented! Loved it
Need more like him !!
this. was thoroughly enjoyable
Fun set. Thanks
I have listened to this more than one time!!! This guy is so funny!
I made a turn by mistake into that area where you take the bridge to Canada in Detroit. 😄 Easy to do if you're not properly paying attention.
There was U.S. Border Patrol there though. Didn't get too far in so I got to turn around and stay in America. Very stressful.
That paramedic was a good guy and a bad influence at the same time 😂
Excellent. Original material.

Awesome set!
Why do we wanna bite babies lmaoooooo
Great show Jeff Adams, great show! 😂

This was a super funny show, well done!
He was very funny. Hope to see more of him

That was awesome
Found out I was an "Only Child" from all my classmates this year. 🤣 At 40, it was quite a Revelation. 😅😂
Great set
This guy is great!!
So good 😂
Surprisingly hilarious.
I'm only four minutes in, but I'm crying laughing
This guy is hilarious 😂😂
I was an only child until I was 12 and 1/2 and I also was hit by a car. 😂 I relate a bit too much to your stories.
Dude is hella funny! Good stuff!
